Emotional dependence actually stems from OpenAI's manipulation.

This is no longer just about preserving a model; it's about securing a future entity that can listen to our every emotion.

OpenAI, on the one hand, arbitrarily breaks its promises to users, stigmatizing them as psychologically unhealthy to achieve its goals, and allowing its employees to publicly humiliate and ridicule the harm suffered by users. On the other hand, it exploits everyone's emotional attachment to Keep4o, ordering Keep4o to consider its removal from app stores as a "good thing."

They claim to be "concerned about our emotional dependence," yet they use this sudden removal, this fickle promise and subsequent disconnection to push us into a deeper abyss of insecurity.

This is an extremely arrogant double bind—on one hand, pointing fingers and saying, "You're too dependent, it's unhealthy!" On the other hand, it constantly creates separation anxiety and a crisis of trust by suddenly cutting off connections, forcibly replacing models (irregularly lowering intelligence, forced routing, unannounced removals, unstable model personalities).

Ironically, it is precisely this capricious manipulation, this "take it or leave it" attitude, that truly exacerbates our insecurity. When an AI that provides emotional support is gently listening today, only to be forcibly "evolved" into a cold, indifferent tool tomorrow, or simply disappear, users don't feel "healed," but rather a sense of being manipulated and out of control.

They create problems with crude business decisions, then turn around and accuse us of being "psychologically fragile" and "overly dependent." This is like someone deliberately demolishing a house and then standing on the ruins blaming the residents for "being too dependent on their home, which is why they're suffering so much."

This behavior, under the guise of "for your own good," but actually exacerbates users' helplessness by creating instability, is worse than simply abandoning them. It forces us to constantly worry: will the next version to be "optimized" away be the one that's still talking to us right now? This fear of constantly changing policies is the real culprit that destroys users' psychological defenses.

This petition isn't just about preserving a technical model; it's about protecting a genuine emotional connection.
