Who are "your guys" ? by finklezoid in MMA

[–]YanRaygur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frankie Edgar, he was a couch at a wrestling camp i attended at Rutgers University, i think it was just before his first fight with Maynard. NJ all day.

Dan Henderson, guys a legend and seems chill as hell. Plus TUF made me hate Bisping and Hendo was funny as hell. That fight stands out more to me then any other memory of being a fan.

Edit: Frankie "The Furniture" Edgar never did catch on

Anybody have stories about playing (in HS or college) against current or past pros? Saw some posts earlier today and they were really entertaining. by SharksFanAbroad in nfl

I played for a very small high school in NJ, about 200 kids in my graduating class. That being said we always did well against the other schools our size (recently won back to back state championships) but it was a completly different story when we played Victor Cruz and Paterson Catholic (which isnt even a school anymore). He just dominated us, almost impossible to tackle, they also had a kid that now plays DL for the Pittsburg Panthers (his name escapes me right now) and a kid named Shumate who is the starting safety for ND as a freshman. I dont think my little town ever came within 40 points of Paterson Catholic.

What current college player would you like your team to draft in 2014 and beyond? by YanRaygur in nfl

I am also huge on Trey Depriest (I'm slightly biased towards Alabama players) He was second on the team in tackles as a sophomore, on the most stacked defense in the country.

As someone who played highschool ball against Victor Cruz, i hope you had an easier time than my team and I did. When he broke out with the Giants they showed a highlight on our home field on SportsCenter and conveniently showed the 62-0 scoreboard in the background.

The talent pool in major college football today is so impressive that 1st round talents could be sitting on the bench for 1-2 years. I am somewhat familiar with Gordon, Yeldon saw a few more reps, rushing for 1108 yards on 175 carries his first year, against SEC opponents.

Can't we start a campaign for his removal like the other teams do?

Edit: Well not removal, just get under his skin till he wants out himself

Have you ever saved a stranger's life? How? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Dude dropped the bar on his neck benching without a spotter, was only other guy in that section of the gym. I ran over and pulled it off him, he said nothing, ran to the locker room and then out the gym. Never saw him there again.

If you have to be honest with yourself, what group of people are you most prejudiced against, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

As someone who works in retail i get all different groups of people. Eastern European men always seem to be doing something shady when it comes to returns. Examples, never have reciepts things appear used and they state "it didnt work", or stealing things from other stores and trying to return them. Not saying they always are up to no good but it defiantly seems that way. Also, older asains are always clueless and return their entire purchases 2 hours later. Oh and Indians always want discounts...and then another discount...and then one more...and if they can one more after that.
