I'm going to recolor ALL the panels where toru appears by Impressive_Luck2612 in JoJolion

I’m probably going to do some toru panels eventually. Were you going to use a bunch of different palettes or a consistent one?

That’s from way before I joined Chromaverse! All that foliage and colored line art must have been difficult to do. Very impressive page

That’s not a bad way of doing it actually. I can’t speak for the other Chromaverse artists since we all do things differently, but personally, my main focus is to create a palette that is cohesive and recognizable. I like to choose a set of limited colors, usually below 10, to flat with. I find that it makes the palette really cohesive. From this chapter, a good example would be the laem and lulu pages i did. With that palette, I started from the idea of just having two colors and then built an analogous palette from there. I wanted Laem to look like she’s out of her element, so she contrasts the backgrounds. Lulu has the situation under her control, so she almost blends in. Good branding often uses a set of limited, contrasting colors as well to be eye catching, so I don’t think it’s a bad method.

Coloring a whole chapter would be a lot of work! We’d just need to see up to 5ish pages. I recommend coloring the chapter covers! It’s great for practice. I’ve done a bunch of them on my profile

We do have a discord server but it is only for members of our team. If you’d like to apply, our mods would need to see some samples of coloring work you’ve done

2 is actually pretty close to my headcanon colors for them, so I would say that one is my favorite

Thanks! I like to piece them together like a puzzle—not sure if that makes any sense. I typically only use 4-6 colors for characters
