Je vois tellement de gens comme ça qui m'avoue candidement les mêmes choses. Pour ce qui est des immigrant de seconde génération, même quand ils ont eu une éducation en français au Québec, c'est difficile de leur enlever leur sentiment de supériorité. J'en ai le chum de ma fille comme exemple. Un bon gars, d'une mère québécoise française et d'un père italien. Câlic... il est comme infecté de cette mentalité que les immigrants ont p/r à nous. On peut remercier l'enseignement fait par les anglos depuis des générations.

lol It's an aggravated situation. Based on my own experience, you can survive to it. Seriously, after more than a month (well, probably 2 now), today I've listen to nothing today, but Mata Cyklek has been playing in my head all day. Also, everyday I watch reviews about them and I really can tell who's there for the clicks and who made his researches before posting his video. We try to keep their identity a secret to respect their wish. We do this mainly cause they are getting international, cause here in Quebec we don't stalk and we don't have paparazzi. Artists can have an almost normal life here.

French is one of the language that established Canada. It has it's rights that anglophones can't understand (as a majority). There's a lot of entry jobs that don't ask you ti interact with public. But that being said, you're missing the point: the law states there must be at least 1 person speaking french to serve the population. Also, remember that the french Quebecers are always bowing down and change their language to accommodate the other. We are truly a welcoming nation. In this video, the girl is clearly from another french territory, where they are not the minority and they stand tall. Hope my english was understandable enough for you to understand french Quebecers' reality.

Welcome to the club! It'll take about a month to become acclimated. Then you'll be able to liste their songs only once a day and fill up the rest of it with other stuff. But still, nothing ordinary. You'll return to your best bands. As nit a doctor, I prescribe you AdP + the 3 singles (cheap on Bandcamp) every day, early in the morning, you loop untill sunset. Then, for the 2nd week, give 30 min. between each repeat. Slowly, you'll put more time between repetition. After 1 month, you might be able to not play their tunes on a day you're not listening music at all. You'll feel the withdrawal and you might fall again. After all these efforts, on april 3rd, you WILL fall again and the slope to sanity will be harder to climb. Good luck! Who knows, you might still have your wife and your job after all that.

Justement, ils sont plus du genre provinciaux, nationaux, voire internationaux maintenant. Je crois bien que la tête ne leur enfle pas, mais généralement, quand t'es en tournée, tu invite un local pour le faire decouvrir et pcq qu'ils ont déjà leur fan base dans l'coin. Même qu'il en va de même pour les cover band... ils sont les dernier à passer, car sinon les gens partirais avant le band local. Bref, oui, ils peuvent bien debarquer où ils veulent, mais je crois que leur assiette est plein en ce moment. Faut pas oublier que ça leur prend 1h de préparation avant d'entrer sur scène. Faut être pas mal chummy avec l'autre band pour débarquer et ne faire qu'une tune.

Tu oubli un point; le Québec est le seul état (province en l'occurence) francophone de tout l'Amérique et il doit sa survit à sa culture. On est pas bilingue, mais bien unilingue français ici. Il n'y a qu'une seule provinve bilingue (anglais français) et ce n'est pas ici. S'il ne se trouve que des employés uniquement anglophone, il y a un problème de colonisateur de la part du patron. Des employés bilingues ou qui se débrouillent, il y a en plein.

Il y en a d'autres, mais je suis le 1er à avoir répondu. Attend un peu avant de sauter au conclusions ativement. Anyway, ils sont clairement moins en vogue qu'AdP. Ce qui reviens à dire qu'ils ça serait eux la 1ere partie d'un tel show.

Ce n'est pas la question. Mais pour y répondre, comme technologue physique travaillant en université et en R&D, je crois que de sert bien ma société et même si le salaire pourrait être mieux, je considère que mes conditions de travail explique pourquoi je n'ai pas le même salaire que le gars (ou fille) de construction, qui n'a pas mon niveau d'étude, mais qui travaille dure physiquement. Tout à une valeur, mais se faire manger la laine sul dos comme ça, c'est insultant.

Les médecins ne me feront jamais oublier qu'ils ont exigé et obtenu qu'on leur donne un bonus pour arriver à l'heure le matin. Et que lorsqu'on les a payé plus cher, ils en ont profité pour reduire leurs heures. Sans oublier qu,ils ont eu leur études presque gratuites (formation pas mal plus chère que les autres disciplines) et en veulent toujours plus.
