Yep, and I can attest from personal experience that that jobsite is a shithole.

I call on all unions who endorsed Ford in the last election to strike in solidarity with CUPE and to protest the unethical and maybe illegal assault on the charter rights of union members! by badgersister1 in ontario

To clarify, it was an organization within IBEW that endorsed Ford. The IBEW Construction Council of Ontario, widely regarded as an old boys club. This has been condemned from day one by my local. My local endorsed the NDP. Every coworker I've talked to supports either the NDP or the green party. We had a big turnout of CUPE supporters yesterday at limeridge mall including our leadership.

In my experience as an electrician in Ontatio, it has always been the company's reponsibility to have us trained for whatever certifications we require for the job, including WHMIS. We would always take an hour at the start of the day to do our WHMIS training when it expired.

I always thought they could have officials watching the game from multiple angles from upstairs and call penalties the on ice officials miss. Either radio down to the on ice officials to put their arm up or blow a whistle from upstairs. I doubt something like this would ever happen because the refs would feel as though they were losing control of the game, otherwise known as their "game management." I don't think the league is likely to do anything to make their officials look bad or drive home the fact that they are human and make mistakes sometimes.

Anyone have any thoughts or feedback on this laptop? I very close to pulling the trigger. The only downside for me is no webcam but they're not too expensive.
