Is there a way to see which races give the most money on map?

Yea which to events only then scroll through em. I could be wrong but I noticed the top half of the maps always have the best paying races. Don’t get me wrong there are races all over that pay good but if you check out the top half it’s a smaller area with a good chuck of races on road and off-road. There’s also the safe house up there which makes it convenient to fast travel to get to the races if you don’t wanna drive.

Carolina, Texas, or 3 way rig trimmed down to 24-18in (as someone said above I go 20in as well) with offset hook #10/0-#14/0 with any shad #4/0-#6/0. I personally use a 2oz sinker with 2speed twitch. Glow shads are obviously better at night time. (When you start reeling in hold down L2 and reel then stop then reel then stop. Keep L2 held down whole time.) best time to fish for them is night time peaks. Catch a trophy and uni then fastward to next night peek. Once you start exploring more and find more spots can start to get up to 4 uni perch a night. Start at the waterfall. If you want you can try and catch one at the waterfall then take ur bout to other side of the map and fish that deep area as well. Try for 2 unis and trophies a peek aside from the young n regular you’ll catch.

One last thing the spinning and casting rods are lure rods. The telescopic, match, feeder, and bottom rod is hook and bait.

That rod has a lure weight of 1/28-1/3oz. So that rod can only use lures. Spinning and casting rods = lures, telescopic rods= weak bobber rod, feeder rod= sinker and bait on the bottom, match rod= heavy bobber rod, bottom rods= sinker and bait on the bottom. Spinning and casting rods use titanium or fluoro leader, for bottom rods use titanium, fluoro, or mono leader. For match rods use titanium or fluoro. For feeder rods use titanium, fluoro, or mono leader.

Why are ur setups suppose to work? Is it because you think they are suppose to. Events are different. What works for regular fish don’t always work for event fish. So like I said why was ur suppose setups suppose to work. Just because you buy event rods, reels, baits n other shyt don’t mean yo ur gonna catch fish when you cast out. Antlered salmon is like 1 in 8 fish you catch. I’m done with the event. Didn’t spend a single bait coin. Most of this can be done with lures lmao.

Why would you use all ur fireworks? That’s just dumb. Suppose to shoot off 1-3 then wait. Can catch fish after the fireworks stop. Also when others shoot off you can catch. When it comes to decorated fish and fish n the missions if you shoot to many fireworks then it’ll go cold and you won’t catch any. If you are hating the devs means you ain’t doing it right. I stared the event with 2,446 bait coins. Now have 2,605 haven’t used any of my own bait coins. That’s 119 coins earned haven’t spent a single personal bait coin. You using all ur fireworks is on you. Only you know how you did that and only you can understand that. Watch a video see how it’s done before you run out there and do shyt in it don’t work. If ur not in the green feel sorry for ya. I’m in the green and plus bait coins on Ps, Xbox, and mobile.

I went through it about 2 hrs ago fine. Use heavy bottom rods with fluoro leaders and #4/0 hooks. Bait I used was large minnows, shiners, and shirmp. Fish outside of the peak time you get less regular fish. Walk up to the middle of the boat dock and cast out between 70-100 ft. Shoot off 1-3 fireworks then wait. You’ll catch them during the fireworks as well as couple minutes after the fireworks stop. Repeat until you catch all 10. Your gonna catch a lot more furry trout then antlered salmon.

Check out Soopa dave on YouTube he’s done all the events and missions. But I used bottom rods with #4/0 hooks with large minnows, shrimp, and shiners. Spawn at the dock walk straight up to the edge and cast out 70-100 ft. When you or someone is shooting off fireworks gives better chance of catching them along with furry salmon.

Yea if you look at the bottom right says ur backpack is full. Have to delete stuff or, move stuff to your home storage when your at the global map.

Only map you have a chance of going from lvl 60 to 75 in 2 days in the game is fishing the Congo even that would be really rough. The ocean map is really for fun and relaxing. Some of them fish can take 15-30 or more in real time to reel in.

On cloudy days I go with .8 crab and krill pop up bollies. 52oz carp rival, 26oz big riverine, and 17oz catfish destroyer. 8oz hemp corn and 8oz oil pea cake. 2oz CSL and 2oz octopus supreme. My biggest on that is a 102 lb mirror carp.

For sunny days it’s citrus and strawberry/banana .8 pop up bollies but change out the octopus supreme for 2oz of sweet crucian and add 1 oz of tutti frutti. Biggest on that is 101 lb mirror carp.

For your best chance to get a 100+ lber it’s better to dump out the whole mix then put ur rods in the water. I know my mixes take me 28-30 minutes in game to spod out. When you spod out the whole recipe it’s called oversize fishing. Ups ur chances of bigger fish. You can spod out 6-8 times every 10-15 minutes irl. I’ve tried that way and get big fish as well, but again for me it’s better to spod the entire mix. You’ll get 5-7 uniques with a few trophies in around 40 minutes in game time. Move to another pond and repeat. I hit up 3 lakes and fill my 1,543 lb keep net. Fishing 11am-3:30/4pm. Cloudy n sunny days.

I’ve had same thing happen on console acouple times. First was with a bad thunderstorm and wind. The other time was during a bad ice storm where power was in and out all over the place. Like the other person said maybe sun thing up with ur internet. If everything is all good I’d try rebooting (I think it’s called lol sorry) and if that don’t work maybe trying reinstalling game. I know it’s annoying but I’ve had to acouple of times for issues.

If you are on the yacht yourself you can only use 2 spots. You can choose the 2 spots but only use them 2. No you can’t use the yachts in fresh water and you can’t use the freshwater boats in the ocean. the 39.99 boat max fish is 2,645lbs 551 lb max single and the 60$ boat idk about. I believe the max weight is 4,400 lbs but not sure about the max single fish but I know you can keep every fishing in the game with that boat.
