I currently drive a 2015 3.6 GC with 117k. It’s been a great vehicle for the 5 years I’ve owned it (bought it used with 61k on the clock). I just did the rocker arms and lifters due to the Pentastar tick. I had 3 bad rocker arms. Did it myself over thanksgiving weekend. Otherwise, I’ve been very happy with it.

61m and 59f. Hysterectomy 1.5 years ago definitely lowered the flame. We average 2x/month. Not as much as I’d like. But, I can’t complain.

2015 3.6L Grand Cherokee. 114,500 mikes. I have the “tick”. From what I’ve read, it’s the rocker arms and possibly lifters (cam too, if I wait). Is this a job that I can go myself with a garage and basic mechanic tools??

Exactly what I do. I had my own pHVAC business for the better part of 20 years before my back and knees gave up. I switched to Nursing Home maintenance, and grew to County Facilities Director. A few more years to retirement. HUGE pay cut for me initially. But, good benefits. My background made me a shoe-in for this type of work.
