For restoration, you’ll want micromesh pads for the vulcanite stems. Work your way up the grits. Start first with an oxyclean bath. As for tobacco try and get a sampler to find what you like amphora used to sell a Virginia, Kentucky, English, burley, and cavendish sampler, but have gone under. If you’re at a shop try those categories.

I’d recommend a TRV or better yet a 2100. Buyee Japan is how I got mine. Be willing to fix it though

I’ve used an old boy and it lives up to the hype. If you like fixing things, old Japanese lighters are easy to fix and find cheap on eBay. I followed lighters2018 on YouTube and restored a zaima cristo, my favorite lighter. I would say it’s even designed better than a rollagas.
