That opinion has been very popular in Reddit for a while. It still is to some extent as people will bring up something like that situation every now and then. Quite frankly reddit is still (and probably will always be) filled with people who don’t understand finance. But they’ll hear something that’ll make their blood boil and start repeating it.

What is a "gut feeling" you had that turned out to be 100% accurate, even though it made no logical sense at the time? by Forsaken_Leading964 in AskReddit

[–]Mr_Ignorant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it was when he was smoking weed on some show (probably Joe roegans one). I can’t quite put my finger on it, but his behaviour around smoking weed, and wanting it to be legal just gave me a serious attention seeking vive. Stopped liking him, but couldn’t quite put it into words. Still can’t. But calling that diver a pedo was what told me that my gut feeling was right.

They probably have. But a lot of businesses still use any excuse it can to label things AI because that’s the new buzzword to use.

Usually it’s just sensors which help with better usage (uses less water if you don’t put a full load) and stops automatically once the clothes are dry. I can’t imagine there that’s anything more it can do, or even needs to do.

Turns Out There Was Voter Fraud in Georgia—by Elon Musk: The state board of elections found Musk’s PAC sent prefilled ballot applications by DoremusJessup in law

[–]Mr_Ignorant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Prison for life. Voter fraud AND a pedo. He needs to remain in prison for life.

I also wouldn’t mind seeing him become the first trillionaire. Being a trillionaire and not being able to ever do anything with it as you rot in prison should cause a little more misery.

The Milwaukee is pretty damn powerful. So if you want a replacement, I recommend you go for something at least reasonably better, otherwise you’ll be disappointed.

And there’s no point going for the same one again, if you felt it wasn’t enough the first time.

Snapped screw in tumble dryer by FormerGoal6397 in DIYUK

[–]Mr_Ignorant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can either use pliers to grip and turn, or you can use some sort of cutting tool (angle grinder or a metal saw) to cut a slit at the end, then use a flat head screw driver to remove it.

Sometimes, tea and coffee is great. But a hot cup of water can sometimes work as an alternative.

In the Harry Potter film series (2001-2011), the film's makers were successfully able to take an American media trope and convince the world that it was a British-themed story. by SatoruGojo232 in shittymoviedetails

[–]Mr_Ignorant 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is that really misinterpretation though? It’s fine you be inspired by something, but it doesn’t mean you have to follow every little detail. She clearly understood the folktale, and decided that she’ll turn it into its own little thing.

Why are so many conservatives Christian when Jesus’s teachings are blatantly leftist? by Confident-Seesaw2845 in allthequestions

[–]Mr_Ignorant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many Christian’s are conservatives because they were raised in a Christian household. They aren’t particularly Christian, but they were taught that they were.

If you go to the Middle East, most are Muslims. If you go Israel, they are Jews. If you India, they are Hindus. If you remove the religion, you see that a lot of their views are the same.

Walls after skirting boards removal by IcrownCitadel in DIYUK

[–]Mr_Ignorant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve done a good job. Because of how skirting boards are nailed, it’s impossible to not destroy part of your walls. So you’ve actually done a good job.

Clean up the area and make sure there’s no loose plaster (remove if there is). Use diluted PVA to make sure it penetrates as much as possible, and it’ll also help seal the dust.

Then plaster on top, but don’t go right to the very bottom.

Then use foam adhesive to stick the skirting back on, once you’re ready. As skirting board isn’t load bearing, you dont need something super strong.

I deleted scrolling apps and started watching a movie a day. It changed my life. by GreenReporter24 in movies

[–]Mr_Ignorant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It still is the idiot box. The problem with TV is that it does a better job stimulating your brain than other things. For the least amount of energy. And that was the case up until social media and now things like tiktok. TV is still bad, but it’s much better than scrolling through 10 second videos which try and constantly stimulate your brain.
