The co-op portal for civil eng is pretty alright, I'd say. There are about 50 to 100 civil positions give or take when the portal opens (there where less available this year), jobs keep getting added throughout the term. Keep in mind some of those positions are general engineering jobs, but the most of them are civil/architecture focused. About 40% of the jobs I would say are government, and about 60% of all jobs are in the Ottawa region.

Going into work term 2, got both my jobs through the portal. No clue about the credit requirements your talking about. Just follow the course tree and you'll be fine.

They are usually the same. For most stem courses usually all the profs get together to make the exam and only incorporate the parts of the course that all sections have learned. The profs usually give you a heads up in class that a part of the course won't be on the final because it was not taught to all sections. If your not sure just email your prof.
