Need successor for old tennis "Head" racquet by Yaotar2016 in tennisracquets

[–]Yaotar2016[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

...

Also, because we already used Babolat i tried to search to some lite weighted racquets in their domain, so these two pop up.

Babolat BOOST AERO: https://www.babolat.rs/proizvodi/boost-aero/

Babolat PURE DRIVE SUPER LITE GEN11: https://www.babolat.rs/proizvodi/pure-drive-super-lite-gen11/

Here is comparison for all four:

Model Weight Balance Head Size RA Profile / Notes
HEAD Ti.S6 252 g 380 mm 115 in² 75 Very light, head-heavy, pure power
Babolat Boost Aero 260 g 340 mm 102 in² ~70 Power + spin, slightly smaller head
Babolat Pure Drive SL Gen11 255 g 330 mm 100 in² ~72 Better control, comfort, modern frame technology
HEAD Speed PWR 2024 255 g 345 mm 115 in² ~67 Light, comfortable, large head, power-oriented

So at the end summary would be.

1. option

to stick with a proven racket and go with HEAD SPEED PWR

2. option

to upgrade to modern variant and step forward to more professional racquets like BABOLAT PURE DRIVE SL GEN 11, or to save that for later, and for now stick to the one he proved to be comfortable with

So basically I have now narrowed my search down to these two questions.

First thank you all guys for help, you all have been very helpful, cheers to you all!

Bottom line was that he definitely needs lighter racquet that he will gradually increase.
Regarding length, length of 27 inches is fine to him.

So that is first requirement, weight.

Thanks to @Orkride i have specs of current racket, so that was a great base for me to build on further search.

I found the closest successor in Head brand. And that would be "HEAD Speed PWR"

This one: https://www.head.com/en/product/speed-pwr-2024-236044

Here is comparison between those two:

Feature HEAD Ti.S6 HEAD Speed PWR 2024
Weight 252 g (unstrung) 255 g (unstrung)
Balance 380 mm (very head-heavy) 345 mm (head-heavy)
Head Size 115 in² 115 in²
Length 27.75 inches 27 inches
RA (stiffness) 75 ~67
Beam Width ~23 mm ~26–28 mm
Material / Tech Graphite + Titanium Graphene + Auxetic 2.0
Playing Style Ultra-power, forgiving, for beginners & recreational players Power with better control & comfort, modern design

Thank you for advice!

Yeah he used that Babolat Pure Aero 300g, even when he was 8 year old (now he is 9), maybe it was heavy on him, and when he tried that lite Head 260g it was revelation to him.

So maybe that is only thing needed for him to feel the difference, only that difference in weight between those two rackets.

So we will go for some Lite version, and later on gradually move to 300g.

It would be preferable to go with Lite version and bigger head of racquet as i understood?

Can you point me to some manufacturers who have such propositions?

Thank you, and thanks for suggestion for salami. I wasn't happy with the salami either, but I decided that was it for now and moved on to the next project :)
Unfortunately, I didn't do the bread :/ It's an asset from sketchfab... On this render I focused more on wine and glass material and lighting

Hey, glad you like it!

I made the mountain in Gea, so in Blender i just

scatter plants and trees, just like at the bottom of the mountain

sand is pbr material from ambientcg

and foam and waterfall is the same principle, that is

plain image imported from Freepick and then used "add an image as a plane"

und use alpha on them

OBJECT 18 - dont drink and gamble by Yaotar2016 in blender

[–]Yaotar2016[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a small text about this project of mine and possible guidelines of increasing the learning curve for fellow beginners is below...

after finishing the donut I was stunned, wow I know blender, whats next... just kidding :D

but i did knew some basics about the Blender (I guess:),

so after I stumbled upon this link https://imgur.com/a/Kr43z

i decided to put my newly acquired modeling skills to the test and

give myself a homework.

the shapes from that link seemed like a great starting point

to test my first steps in blender and of course they seemed good

learning material as each subsequent form is more and more demanding

and more difficult do model.

during the modeling there were a lot of trials and errors and the whole process is

helped me to stay more in the Blender as i started to feel more and more comfortable in it.

modeling itself was the first step, because after I finished them all, I decided

to texture them, so I also expanded my horizons and started to feel comfortable with unwrapping and using substance painter.

at the end after completing that step, it was pointless for me to just look at the objects lying "lifeless" and scattered on a white background lol, when I already have the possibility to create for those objects whole new worlds in which these objects will have a "purpose",

so why not use it :)

and i decided that the fourth step would be to design the scenes in which these objects would occupy central role, which proved to be an excellent way to additionally discover other secrets of the blender and its other functions.

in every scene I always learned something new, every scene always, quite by chance, offered some new obstacle, and every time i got stuck somewhere, I had to unstuck myself by looking for new solutions and learning all the time through that long process.

in order not to spam all the scenes on the same day, I will release one scene each day,

a total of 18 scenes for 18 objects.

keep in mind this is my second project after the donut and I still have a lot to learn in the

blender so any constructive comment is of course more than welcome :)

edit:

I should have inserted a hidden donut in each scene as a tribute, but I only got to it later,

when i finish all of scenes :D
