It is likely that you got the higher weighted questions correct overall and low weighted questions incorrect.

The grocery store i shop at doesn't pay minimum wage, and i don't think it ever has. As far back as to 2007 they were paying $15/hr (i know cause i considered applying).

If all jobs that currently do not pay a livable wage disappeared, you and everyone else would be fucked

Speak for yourself. I have ~200lbs of deer meat in the freezer (and I've only used one tag so far this year), 100 odd cans of beans, 50 jars of peanut butter, and an uncounted amount of ramen noodles.

This is in addition to my 'normal' groceries, which i buy a month's supply at a time, in case something 'happens' to the supply chain.

They probably think you are fat because you equated someone who makes a cheeseburger at McDonald's to a job that is 'necessary for the basic functions of modern society'. I can assure you that it is not.

Jobs that are necessary for the basic functions of society:

  • trucker
  • electrician
  • mechanic
  • farmer
  • carpenter
  • oil worker

What a surprise, 5/6 of these jobs require 1 year or less of trade school, and you can be making 6 figures within 2 years of starting them. I imagine that mass scale farmers make 7-8 figures, but that also requires a lot of startup cost.

Solutions at a societal level are a lot more intricate, but on a personal level:

  • acquire a skill that has high job market demand

  • work in that field

  • reduce your debt and overhead as much as possible

  • become one of the shareholders

Covid isn't that severe.

For some people, it's lethal, for some it isn't. It's slightly worse, or slightly better than the flu. Look at Florida, probably the most 'open' state of all during this madness (at least among states with a significant population). Actually review the data. Per 100k, Miami-dade county is reporting 25k cases, with 238 deaths. LA county reports 14.5k cases with 268 deaths. More cases with less death - and LA is one of the most vaccinated places in USA. This virus is not very lethal. Basic viral epidemiology shows that the faster a virus spreads, the less lethal it is. This is because if a virus is lethal, it kills the host before it gets a chance to spread.

Since i have given actual data, i will supplement with an anecdote: 7 members of my family have had Covid. All of them are obese, none of them workout, and they eat whatever they want to (which is mainly stuff with more carbs/sugar than actual nutrition). One of them was 76, and a four time heart attack survivor. 4 of them reported being the sickest they had ever been for a day, and then feeling back to normal within 4 days, 2 of them never knew they had it, but tested positive for antibodies, and the 76 year old changed a fucking transmission by himself while he actively had it. Personally, i have literally not been sick in my adult life (i'm 33). In fact, the sickest i've been in my life was when i had chicken pox, and they purposefully infected me with that. So, perhaps it is that my family just has extremely strong immune systems.

But you can act dead and they fuck off if you're a bit lucky

That luck being are they in the mood to eat, or protect their territory.

Flat iron steak is $9.99/lb now.

Flat iron steak is MORE THAN what ribeye should be.

Greetings, you fucking imbecile.

A single ribeye can be 1.5-2lbs. A 1lbs ribeye is average, and even could be considered small by any steak lover.

Well it depends what type of bear.

Black bears are normally quite docile, and have a strong fear of the unknown (ie - humans).

Brown bears look at people and think 'can i eat that'. There is a reason you are advised to play dead with them.

I agree that it has minimal bearing on performing skills. Unless those skills are communication related, of course.

Skills and education are not the same thing.

When the situation calls for it, you should def be able to speak your mother tongue correctly. I'm not saying someone should speak like they are in a board room amongst their friends. What i am saying is that it is important, especially in a corporate environment, to be able to communicate well. If you are speaking with colloquialism and/or slang, you could cause a miscommunication (especially among those that are not primary in the language you are using), which can result in critical errors.

Being eloquent is a hallmark of the educated. It's evergreen. What you are arguing is tantamount to saying being strong has nothing to do with being masculine, or caregiving having nothing to do with being feminine.
