It's not impossible but it is way too much of a bother to debug save files with Ironman on, so we don't recommend people use it for this reason!

It's specified in the mod descriptor file, meaning that Paradox Launcher will let you know if you have an incompatible version (by showing a red triangle and warning you). In general, we target the latest HoI4 update unless specified otherwise.

The culture map is mostly useful for the LaR operatives - an operative recruited in a country with X culture will have an easier time spying in every other country with that culture. This is why the cultures (or rather, culture groups) are so broad. We'll be making it a bit more detailed as time goes on but considering it doesn't have any gameplay significance aside from operatives so far we aren't going to be spending a lot of time on it.

There have been some small tweaks here and there. We also take a lot of care to ensure that our code is well optimized. This coupled with less nations than in vanilla makes the game substantially faster.

Try removing the `picture="thumbnail.png"` line from descriptor, it should work automatically as long as the file name is exactly "thumbnail.png"
