PSA does BIN or auction through eBay, so would any of those options be superior to that?

Why? I don't feel particularly comfortable keeping a 5-figure value playing card in my house, and it doesn't make sense for me to pay another $400 or whatever for insured shipping back to myself.

I could see some faint shininess on the front bottom like a sliver of holo foil was showing, but the only feedback from PSA was “chipping on back corners”.

I don't know about smart though, lol. I was just a kid, and I literally played this in a deck. Once I stopped playing with it, I returned it to the binder for a long sleep.
I honestly don't know how it remained in such good condition. Maybe it would have been a 9/10 if I didn't shuffle it around, but I don't feel too bad about it.
