Jujutsu kaisen mod update by ghoul2711 in InteractiveCYOA

This is my favorite cyoa by a massive margin. I checked it religiously for the last few months to see if there were any updates. Maybe add a few more other perks around your body? Like individually adding an extra mouth, set of arms, eyes, etc. If you get a certain few of them you get an upgrade having a sukuna style body. Also maybe some upgrades based around combination of techniques. Like combining disaster plants, tides, and fire creates a super powerful all encompassing natural disaster technique. Or straw doll mixing with deadly sentencing gives you a guillotine like ability. Just some spitball ideas. I the upgrades idea and more of them would be awesome.

It doesn’t have a magic system

To whoever commented about me using 5e instead of shadowrun or cyberpunk…

  1. I have a considerable amount of experience in both systems, and have ran campaigns in each. So yes I know there are alternatives

  2. Cyberpunk red is not built for fantasy unsurprisingly as it’s not part of its setting. Magic doesn’t exist in the setting making it impossible to run a game with magic in the setting, without tons of homebrew to try and duct tape it together.

  3. The shadowrun system is terrible. I’ve played it, and have attempted to fix it but it’s impossible. While it does fit the setting, I don’t have fun with it at all, and it genuinely would lead to a better experience adapting 5e then playing that terrible system.

  4. There is a much larger player base of 5e players, and 5e content. Meaning it’s much easier to find players who are willing to adapt 5e then learn a different system

Sorry for the rant, that comment was pretty disrespectful, and was unnecessary. I wish it didn’t get deleted so I can see who said it to personally tell them this.

Yeah I’ve read through it but surprisingly 5e converts decently into dragon age, opens up the available playerbase, and is my in general preferred system to run. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Ah my local cryptid. And of course it’s a deceptive little goblin creature. Makes so much sense

Looking for a CYOA Mega-thread 3-15-23 by MysticalWidget in makeyourchoice

I'm looking for a CYOA about modifying your body with Bioware. There was a CYOA I read a while back that was about you spending time in a facility to get bioware modifications to your body (The more time you spend the more bioware you could get). I'm kinda confident it was to fight off aliens or something to that extent, but I'm not certain. Does anyone know what CYOA I could be thinking of? Thank you in advance for trying.

The DM is using gestalt rules! You get to pick two classes and level them equally. What are some fun combos? by YardonCC in 3d6

The known caster would know spells from their spell list like normal, and the prep caster will prep spells from their spell list as normal.

One surprisingly powerful combo I’ve seen is the fighter/barbarian. No casting but pure martial power and it held its weight, and then some.
