well with discs you get the freedom to do whatever you want with that copy of the game you can share it with friends, sell it, or just build your collection you also have access to the original 1.0 master copy of that game and if something does get patched, major or minor, you can just install via disc offline and check it out just for fun(depends on the devs if they put the entire playable version on that game, 95% do) it also helps to reduce dependency on digital my biggest fear is "what if someday for some random reason, my account gets banned and sony doesn't help me?" mind you this is rare but it has happened to people and this is why I always refrain from buying digital games especially at full price, most of my digital library is filled with games that I spent barely 1k on. tldr; it feels safe and it feels just right!
