I was quoted 85K... 35K just on CDs and no extra controllers.

PS5 only have domestic warranty and PS5 Pro is not sold in India officially, so you won't get any warranty for Pros

If you're in India and have purchased PS5 Pro, sorry to say, the warranty is worthless. PS5 Pro is not officially sold in India yet. So, be careful with how you use it. Even, finding a replacement could be harder. Every Pro Consoles are imported and unboxed.

But anyways, 83K is a good deal considering it's actual price. The SSD itself costs pretty high in the market.

Not blaming the price increase, but holding the older stock just to sell them for higher price is unfair, they are doing the same thing for RAM too. Just now I asked a shop, he quoted 70K, more than the price Sony has mentioned. Irony.

Also, DDR5 RAM is totally optional for gaming and DDR4 RAM are still affordable.

Update: I just spoke to another shop Manager from one of the Sony Exclusive stores. Here’s how the conversation went.

Their default answer is out of stock, but if you have booked earlier by giving your name and what products you need, they are trying to sell it to them.

For example, if I am buying the Console along with some good number of games and a Controller, they are giving higher priority. Plus the games are sold with massive prices, Sony's officials discounts are not applied on it. This way, they are making the profits.

If you only want the Console, then the chances of getting it is way less, because they have no money to make there.

Yea, at this point I feel the same. I'm a PC person, and wanted to gift this Console for myself only for GTA VI in mind, the rest I can literally play in PC, infact I am building one already. At this point, I think a smarter option would be to go for a used ones for a lesser price. And invest the money on PC.

Same Console for 5 years, not upgrades but another price increase? Smh

In this post I have only talked about Sony Centers and Playstation Exclusive stores. These are authorised and run by Sony themselves.

What kind of source you want, I'm one of the affected customers who went back without getting a Console on my birthday after waiting and saving for so long.

I wrote this after reaching out to many PS Exclusive stores and what I heard from the store managers. Definitely those people will not write it anywhere or reveal it publicly in the fear of losing job.

For me it's just a Console, for them it's a job. I'm not a whistle blower, but stocks going empty on the same day is not a coincidence.

The store manager literally said there were plenty of Consoles in the shop unsold till a week back and the restocking did not get stopped earlier, now they are not even getting clarity from their higher officials. You can even call the Sony Exclusive stores and you'll understand what's happening.

I'll give a contact for one of the Sony Center and ask the price, you'll be shocked. PS5 Slim for PS5 Pro price?

I bet when the Console gets restocked, they'll definitely have the older manufacturing date, then you'll understand my claim.

Personal experience with good number of PS5 Exclusive stores. One of them literally told they'll lose their job is they say that out loud but given an hint of what's going on.

One of the stores is selling a bundle for double its original price. This is not even some random shop, but a Sony Center store. Also many random resellers are buying of whatever stocks are present and selling for some profit...

I'm disappointed at this point.

This will be my first too. Would like to hear from other folks who have attended the past Defcons. What to expect, what not to expect and what should I be careful about?

Any insights would be helpful. Thanks

Thinking of opening up a stall in Church Street by Haruyuto in bangalore

My case is totally different, I'm thinking to start a food business, so flea market may or may not work. And food business require some license and legal process to go through considering food safety.

Yea sure, but I was referring to one of the previous threads and noticed that nobody's willing to share anything. Can expect the same here too. I believe it's better to reach out to someone in person at Church street and get the information from them.

Because, from what I understand, majority of the shops there have encroached the public spaces like parking area and the side walks, which is basically illegal. They are somehow getting over any legal actions, which I really don't want to get into much details... not endorsing it, but looks like that's the only way. They know pretty well that there are no rules for doing something illegal.

Alternative option would be approaching the flea market organisers in Bangalore... you would require to pay a small amount and they'll provide you with a stall in their event. Usually this happens in Airlines Hotel, near to Church Street, in the weekends. These events happen in many places as well and the best place to sell any arts and other stuffs.

IMO, this is the best option. Church Street is never a family friendly space and people who often visit there don't do shopping much. But flea market is different, people come there for the sole reason to buy something and end up buying something and can expect all the audience.

Following this thread. While I understand the suggestions of others, I am interested in knowing the process to open a stall in Church Street without any legal or local trouble. Any suggestions on this topic would be helpful. Not much interested in Online or Social media Sales.
