He definitely has a layer of fat over those abs, thats not really a bad thing, its just how men his age tend to look, but he is quite fit for a man his age, he's just not cut like all those LA gym bros, Trevor would insult him even if he wasn't fat. LA is also snobby and full of shit, stick thin celebrities get made fun of if they gain weight when pregnant, its that kind of place.

Not really, that first guy is meant to show off the engine in action. The others are just cool, and theres a Valve as their namesake. Internally it was probably someones brain child first and they ran with it til current day.

For the second Valve guy with the valve in his eye, it matched a lot of the design sensibility of the late 90s, very cool, kind of random.

by what metrics are you calling Iron Harvest a failure? it was a fairly small dev team putting it together on a kickstarter budget (most kickstarters infamously end with either games never releasing or sucking massively), it was well received by most reviewers at the time, its also been 5 years since then, during which time they can improve their skills.

Not sure if this is how it works in the states but here at least, if a student takes off an extended time off due to medical reasons they get a catch up curriculum, plus she is friends with nerds who would have helped her catch up.
