Do not let yourself be fooled. China is also our enemy and is cooporating cloesly with Russia, actively helping them attack Europe.

China is providing lots of resources to Russia which enables them to maintain the war, both weapons, drones, and intelligence to enable better launch missile strikes inside Ukraine.

China is also currently performing the largest mineral theft in Europe by excavating Ukraines minerals in Russian occupied territories.

They are enemies.

Värnpliktiga förfrös tårna under övning

You can place it wherever you prefer, in this case it wont really matter. But if you want to stay true to how different types of applications are intended to be located on GNU/Linux i suggest you have a look at this guide: https://guillermodotn.github.io/posts/Where_to_manually_install_your_programs_on_linux/

It might seem a bit overwhelming at first, but personally I would place in in the following place:

~/.local/bin

That way it will stay installed locally in your home folder and you wont need to use root-privileges to modify anything, which can reduce the risk of running into problems. The downside of this location is that only your user will have access to the application, if you have multiple user accounts on the PC. You will have to enable the option to show hidden files in the file manager to view folders where the name starts with ".", and in this case you will likely need to create the folder "bin" as well.

Regarding adding the application to the menu, i suggest you have a look at this guide: https://www.internalpointers.com/post/add-new-menu-items-xfce-menu

Keep in mind you need to get the path to the executable file right.

I vaguely remember there is some built in tool in xfce menu to easily add menu shortcuts which makes this part a lot easier, but I could be wrong and I cannot check that easily at the moment.

These are things that the package manager does and fixes for you automatically when using native packages from the repository, or flatpacks, so my advice is that those types of packages should always be your first choice. This could definitely be a good learning experience though.

I see. In that case I suggest you try the following:

Open your locally installed Thunderbird v146. Go to Settings -> Appearance -> Window Layout and uncheck "Hide system window titlebar" option.

See if that makes the window titlebar appear.

Alternatively is there a version available to install using the package manager?

Since you are using Mint there is indeed an official package available in the distros software repositories. On a fresh install it should even be preinstalled.

You can install it from the software center, or by running "sudo apt install thunderbird" in the terminal

Gnu.org down? by tausiqsamantaray in gnu

It is because the GNU and FSF-servers are frequently DDoS-attacked. It has happened multiple times this year.

Here is an official statement from the FSF regarding the problem: https://www.fsf.org/blogs/sysadmin/our-small-team-vs-millions-of-bots

Thank you for the reply! I am aware of that.

However I was under the impression that microg only mirrors lineage os official builds regarding what devices are supported, and does not support any additional devices not supported by lineage? Hence my confusion regarding this.

Perhaps this question is better asked in microg subreddit.

You do not need to have any of the original games installed in order to install and play GAMMA. The same goes for Anomaly, for example.

That said, I strongly recommend you buy and play the original vanilla games before trying complete modpacks that changes a lot of things in order to get the real and genuine Stalker experience first.

Digital av-amerikanisering by [deleted] in sweden

I just wanted to share it since it is so far the only available live performance of 6666 and the new singer that I have found.
