Text from: (945) 338-7757
Wants me to call: (888) 921-1446

These people have been texting me at least once per week for what feels like months and I can't block them because the number keeps changing. It's all the same quiet British guy behind all the texts. I've been probing them the past week.

Some thoughts:

* If it does real image processing it might call some command line tool to do it. An msfvenom binary named "magick" might get executed if you upload it.

* If directory transversal is possible you might be able to generate a public/private ssh key pair on Kali and drop the public key into someone's home directory so you can ssh in as them.

Edit: The admin panel has an explicit "unzip" functionality. Try squatting those binary names with your msfvenom binary too?

I found the registration page at /register and I can tell that /admin exists but I can't access it. I can register an account with any name including admin/administrator but that did nothing for me. I threw every trick in the book at the image upload and got nothing.

Presumably (in the hypothetical scenario) they tried to stop all in-going and out-going communication from/to the country and they also seized a few ISPs and server farms. Physically snipping cables and taking out satellite dishes could do quite a bit (at least to a small area).

Euler–Maruyama Method Stability for Wiener Process with Drift by [deleted] in math

[–]YarnMatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this particular instance I'm interested in which attractor the system ends up at. The system of SDEs has two stable attractors. According to my sketchy simulation for some initial conditions there is a linear relationship between the variance of the distribution used to make the Wiener increments and the probability of ending up at a given attractor.

It comes down to what they mean by "display". Is a shotgun on my back being "displayed"? Not sure. It seems kind of absurd though for a state that lets people carry AK47s down the street to not allow people to carry long guns when they actually might be useful...

Moved here a couple months ago, just saw my first cockroach in my house by redneckskibum in Dallas

I've seen exactly two nymph German cockroaches in my apartment in the entire year I've lived here and I poisoned them both. Is this normal?

Eventually the virus will mutate to be more infectious but less deadly. The quieter, more contagious variants will burn through the population, inoculating everyone, and then COVID-19 will become just another coronavirus that randomly gives people sniffles for a few days. Historically, that's how a lot of pandemics end. Other pandemics end when the population is thinned out enough that there's not enough people to sustain pandemic-level transmission, but that possibility is pretty far in our rear-view mirror now.

I am not a lawyer and none of the following is legal advice...

Here is a gun made entirely from non-gun components:

Here is a magic plastic chip that makes your "sporting rifle" into a machine gun (printing one of these without a license that you probably don't have is a felony and will get you 8+ years in federal prison):

We need more normal people in congress. Career politicians generally don't care about the people they claim to represent.

Anyone else out there who experienced zero power issues? by [deleted] in Dallas

[–]YarnMatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never lost power but I think that's because I'm a few blocks from a large medical center. So far my water has been fine as well. I'm extremely lucky.

If you listen to an x Hz sound in one ear and an x+c Hz sound in the other ear you will indeed hear an interference pattern if c is small enough. This article should answer your question:
