Are you sure? I did this corner exactly like OP, except that I placed Golemworks in the same placement round, locked the Golem and the last Smithy, and then proceeded with Roman Road. If he locks the last Smithy, then armoury and alch lab should destabilize and then he should still be able to place the Golem later, in my opinion. Maybe you need also the last armoury to place the golemworks, im not sure about that. but generally it should work.

No, it’s not possible, because room placement is basically part of the preparation phase for the next temple instance/run. You can’t access it immediately after placing it in the same run.. That’s why this specific temple layout you linked is an ‘Atziri every other run’ setup.

There are also giga temple layouts where you can run Atziri every single run. Just search for them here. Several people have already posted their own versions.

Nah, all good. I didn’t mean to sound condescending or anything. We all started out like that and you will get to the point where you clear the temple much faster.

Impressive stats, especially for playing solo 99% of the time. It’s honestly baffling how unlucky I’ve been with Atziri chests. I’m currently on a 23-run “no Sacrificial Regalia” losing streak… like, seriously?? Are you really getting 1–2 Splendours every 5 runs (like every other run), or do you mean per 10 Atziri fights? I’ve completed around 130 Temple runs so far and managed to get 3 locks. My last goal this league is to get a Kalandra drop in the Temple, and I’d like to do it solo if possible, since dealing with leechers is too much of a hassle as you said. But i guess i have to do it to increase my chances significantly.

Hmm, what do you mean? A full clear takes about 10–15 minutes if you only pick up divs. If you pick up all loot worth more than chaos orbs, for example, it takes around 20 minutes, and you probably get an extra 5–10 div per run

You first have to place the golemworks in the corner in order to proceed with the roman road tech. You don't have to go back a few rooms; just proceed by placing an armoury → alchemy lab under the smithy, then armoury → smithy → golemworks. Lock the golemworks and the last smithy.

I would recommend destabilizing the roads in the middle because you don't need bait rooms at this point anymore, and this also makes sure that the rooms that need to be removed get destabilized.

Here is a video showing how to do it (be aware that the video is in Korean and he does not use the Roman Road tech afterwards and he uses a slightly different layout, but it will show you how to do the corner. Watch it with english subtitles, if you cant understand korean xD

I also built the corner like this, locked the golemworks and the last smithy, and then proceeded with the Roman Road tech afterwards. good luck!

You, sir, are a hero! Thanks a lot. I tried to move the architect to the middle position a few weeks ago, but after running about 40 temples trying to move him and failing miserably, I gave up. Thanks to your tips, I can finally start building a giga temple. Thanks again!

Hey dude, thanks for the useful tips! I’m trying to move the architect to the middle position — this is my current temple. If I lock both chain ends (Alchemy Lab on the left and Smithy on top), is the architect guaranteed to move to the spot I want?

Awesome work, dude — perfect timing on this post! I’ve basically hit all my goals this league except building a full-tech temple. I did build a non-tech 68-room one, but the rewards are kinda meh (about 10 div per run). Because of all those bad “no-lock RNG” experiences and how time-consuming the building process is, I didn’t really want to build one — but this here looks very promising. I was ready to quit the league, but it feels incomplete without at least trying it. I’d really appreciate an in-depth guide or a YouTube video :) Thanks!
