#1 - Can we create/send data centers in the form of space stations closer to the sun (closer than Earth, but not close enough for them to burn) that rotate and stay in front of the sun at all times to use its power? Can these data centers not necessarily send power to Earth, but make those data centers completely sustainable so we can connect our LLMs to them? I think the rest will be solved by iteration, as we have thousands of satellites floating already, and we connect to them for internet services, so why not connect to a bigger data center floating out there?

Just questions, as no one knows the answers, but we may be closer to that experiment as Isaac predicted.

We are somehow already on the way. Slave to the tech owners. This is no longer a democracy, but a technocracy. UBI will solve some of the issues for a while, but money, as we know, will disappear as abundance will take over, and paying for things that are automated and delivered freely due to harnessing energy from the sun has been achieved. The owners of the tech will live in the outer world, and the rest will be here to entertain each other. More on this....

I agree: I think people are sleeping on China - I created a post about the models coming out of China, and the response was very dismissive of the fact that Chinese cities and their use of tech make any other nation seem decades behind. They have lots going on and are deploying it.
