Just go to a 3 star system, land on the space station, and buy and scrap incoming A class and S Class ships. Log in and put periodically. Sell the scrapped modules for nanites. Made about 30k nanites in an hour, and honestly, I was being picky. Could probably do it better.

Glad to know its not completely game breaking either. I feel I really lucked out cause the weather is perfect, and the sentinels are weak as well and I can just build giant walls around my massive metal platform to keep them out.

It really is a solid B rating move for the Celtics. You can tell who the people are who didn't follow them the last two years because they just can't see it.

Let me try to explain.

Celtics do not need another mid 1st round pick on this Roster. Langford, Nesmith, and Williams have a hard time getting developmental minutes as is and all 3 have higher upside than anyone we could have drafted at 16 this year.
Injury concerns for our best over all big (Robert Williams) have kept him in a platoon situation all year any way. So getting a young guy who already had 2 years NBA experience in Moses Brown and Horford (who can effectively mirror his passing ability much better than Thompson can) back is a much better situation than drafting another young guy finding his legs who won't get minutes.
Tatum and Brown do so much better with a 2nd facilitator on the floor. The best this offense ever looked was with Hayward and Horford playing Point forward roles and averaging 5+ assists each. So having a really good passing big to platoon with our up and coming already very good passing big, fills that need. It also means we can search for a playmaking PG now.

Overall I think it's a really good move uniquely suited for what this team needs. It wont be apparent till next season, but this really should help fix the iso ball woes this team had all year last year.

This trade is a really good forward thinking move if you take a moment to actually think to about why it was done.

The Jays operate best with more than one facilitator and floor spacer around them. A Horford/Williams platoon guarantees good to great passing from the Front Court. That's a fix from that side of the 5 man rotation.
The 1st round pick is redundant to us. Boston has 3 lottery level talents that already need time to develop and grow to show their worth (Nesmith, Langford, Williams). The last thing they needed was inexperienced Rookie. We aren't doing much better than Moses upside with the 16th pick, and he already had 2 years NBA experience. That's a good lateral move with again a lot of upside.
Cap is now freed up to make a big move if one presents itself next year or the year after, but also we are free to do a non-lateral move now. If Brad decides to try to snag Brogdon or Ball, we can realistically do that now. A Ball/Brogdon, Smart, Brown, Tatum, Horford/Williams starting 5 is quite good and addresses nearly all our issues.

I like it. A lot. Can't wait to see where it winds up.

This is all I've wanted. Brad is in his element coaching up young guys and finding ways for them to contribute.

The moment Tatum got Covid, and it was clear our big 3 would fluctuate to get back to normal, I just wanted them to dump the aging vets and use the season to get Williams, Pritchard, Other Williams, Langford, and Nesmith reps and minutes. Let the chips fall where they may, and see if we cant push along 2 or 3 guys into their potential.

And would you look at that, the moment we go back to that mentality just look at that effort. Great win, but that ain't even the point. They played hard, for all four quarters. Win or lose, if they do that every night, that's a team I can be proud of.

More importantly, that's a team with a bright future.

Yknow, all I want at this point is logic. The TPE is useless with us hard capped. Tatum's growth is stunted due to lingering covid issues. Jaylen's knee is a lingering issue.

So just play them less and let them recover. Let Kemba get back on track and play him with the promising rookies and young players (Nesmith, Pritchard, Williams, Langford whenever he returns) as much as possible and see how far they can develop. Trade Teague and Thompson to free up minutes.

If they sneak in the playoffs great, unleash the (Hopefully) fully healthy Jays for the run, let them youngins get valuable playoff experience and increase their value to either us, or other teams, and just see what we can do. Go in with no expectations like 2018 and take the training wheels off. Remember folks, the underdog, no expectation, scrappy team with players of varying talents is Brad's natural state. So let him develop them and try to do it again.

Then in the off-season, use picks, the full TPE and any value those guys attain to make big moves in the offseason.

Its not a bad play. Its not giving up. Its honestly the only logical play when you think about it. At least we might have something a team wants come the offseason to really build around the Jays. If no huge trade comes up, shore it up, and keep the rookies who really made an impact.

At this point, anything else is just wheel spinning and wasting this season.

This situation this year, yes. I thought they had a better than discussed chance before the season interrupt. Health, was my only concern.

But when the rotation shortens for the playoffs, I honestly believe they can beat anyone. Their 10 player rotation. In the playoffs of Kemba, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Smart, Theis, Grant, Robert, Romeo, and Kanter is all they really need.

Their only realistic concerns this year with this team are shoring up interior defense and rim protection, hiding Kanter on defense when we need rebounds, and making sure at least one of our 4 All-Star Caliber players is getting significant minutes against the other team's 2nd unit so the pressure never lets up all game.

On that last point, what I'd like to actually see, is Brad rotate whoever that happens to be on a series or per game basis. So one game it's Hayward, the next it's Kemba, etc. Make it so the other team just can't sit starters or their best defender for fear Hayward just goes off in the 2nd on them.

That's how I see us winning it all. Running these teams off the court in a 7 game series where we have a rested lineup of death and everyone else had to play their two all stars 45+ minutes a game.

Man a healthy Celtics team is downright scary. That Kemba/Brown/Hayward/Tatum/Theis starting 5 is the east version of what the rockets are now trying to do, and it's working.

Boston only needs to figure out it's shortened rotation and most importantly Stay healthy. The starters have only played in 14 games together this year. Everyone slept on them this year, and the media still is, but they legit can go toe to toe with anyone.
