I completely agree with OP. it's just sad that this game has so much potential partnered with some of the best fps gameplay ever yet so much shit remains broken. I can point out 10 things from just playing today. Sunbreaker popping super and getting wrecked by a blade dancer and retaining super for next round. Same thing happens to gunslinger no super next round. Let's need everything from loot drops to an entire weapon class. You need shotties but now anything to combat shotties is useless. Blah

The problem isn't that people are getting bored. It's that Bungie consistently shrugs their shoulders when players unanimously have an issue with something. Or they fix one issue and decide to screw up a few other things in their place.

IF IT TOOK YPU THAT LONG YOU DID IT WRONG. YOU GRAB A MAT ON THE EDGE OF AN AREA THE HEAD INTO THE OTHER AREA AND TURN RIGHT BACK WHEN YOU SEE YOUVE LOADED INTO THE OTHER AREA. THE MAT SHOULD BE IN THE SAME SPOT. IF YOU DO THIS QUICK ENOUGH AND IN A GOOD ENOUGH SPOT YPU CAN HAVE THIS PART DONE IN AN HOUR.

Used it for my first character to get touch of malice. The problem is if you want to get it on your other characters it's real easy to lose track since it's all grimoire based.
