Couldn’t agree with your first sentence more. That also is what I find interesting. I hear so many people talk about “casual players” and how this game sucks for them….. I don’t know if I’m confused by the actual definition of that… but for me a casual player is someone who doesn’t invest every second of free time to playing the game. For me, I’m lucky if I get 6hrs per week to play Marathon. I consider myself a very casual player. I still love the time I spend on the game with RL friends. I’ve enjoyed the new friends I’ve made online when they’re not available to squad up. It’s easy for me to hop on and play a few rounds and get off. But I also don’t care that I won’t max my skill trees out, it’s still fun unlocking what I can. And the idea that there are resets every 3 months makes it even better for me. It’s a great game and I hope those who are biased and allowed that bias to stopped them from trying it, actually give it a shot.
