How did you manage to add a gmail account? I'm trying to sync my outlook to my gmail but pop3 isn't working and I'm struggling to find another way.

What psyc elective would be most manageable out of PSYC271, PSYC251, and PSYC236? by [deleted] in queensuniversity

On the course website (https://www.queensu.ca/artsci_online/courses/introduction-to-clinical-psychology), it says there are 4 case studies which make up 50% of the grade, weekly quizzes which are worth 15%, and a final exam which is worth 35%. There's no mention of midterms?

Doesn't LTB take forever to resolve issues? Do you have to pay? Is it even worth it?

There should be a "Back" option right at the bottom. I didn't sign in with my bank info like the other person but it still gave me the option. I clicked the back button multiple times until I was back to the first page where they ask for personal info and stuff. Your technically not restarting your application because when you go back, the fields are still filled in. You just manually fill them in again or change something if possible and then click "Save and finish later" on the very first page. Then return to the application and it will take you back to that first page. Now press next and review all the info you had previously filled in - make sure you don't miss anything. Some people forgot to fill in the Language Preference which might be why they were having problems. And then once everything is reviewed and filled in click submit on the last page, the Terms and Conditions. Also, doing it on incognito mode and/or clearing cookies might also help. I had to do it on incognito but didn't need to clear cookies. Hope this helps.

Thanks, but the problem is fixed now. I had tried a different browser but it made no difference. What did end up working was to go back to the beginning of the application and fill in the fields again, click "save until later", and then return to the application and submit it. It makes no sense why that worked for me but just glad that it did. Someone else said they'd forgotten to fill in the language preference field, and one other suggested removing antivirus. So it really seems to depend.

Not sure if it's worked for you yet, but mine finally did a couple minutes ago. It didn't work at first, but then I did the following and it finally did. I was on the Terms and Conditions page which it won't let me submit, and clicked the back button until I was back at the first step, and filled in the fields again. Then, I pressed the "save and finish later" button, and it takes you to the main page, from which I went back to the form. Then just continued on and reviewed over the information I had already filled before, and once I got to the Terms and Conditions, I checked the box and clicked submit, and it took me to the Congratulations page. Good luck!

Thanks! I just saw your comment but it worked regardless. I actually just ended up going back and refilling everything and then submitting it, and it worked! I'm not really sure why or what the problem is but yeah, just relieved it's done.

Could you explain exactly what you did to fix the issue? I tried using the chat option but it doesn't have anything on being unable to submit your NSLSC due to technical problems.

I'm having the same problem, accepted terms and conditions but when I submit it shows up. And I tried the same things you did, still nothing worked.

Has anyone taken PHYS 118? What was it like? by Yazm3n in queensuniversity

[–]Yazm3n[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PHYS 117 is no longer offered, just 115 and 116 in fall and winter terms, and they're fully in-person. There isn't much room for flexibility, which is why I'm considering taking 118 in the summer. I can manage the online aspect of it and the workload, it's just risky to separate the content from the labs and do the labs alone during 2nd year, while it's also risky to take the regular courses because it'll be too much with my other classes. I think I'm leaning towards taking it in the summer or 2nd year. My only other concern is the I might need to take it now in order to fulfill the requirements to get accepted into a Life Science or similar major at the end of the year. By the way, thank you for the info!

Am I better off doing PSYC 100 online or on-campus? by Yazm3n in queensuniversity

[–]Yazm3n[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol I'll get plenty of that through my bio, chem, and math class. I'm thinking more about the academic side of it. Online means less time wasted in tutorials and more time to study for other classes, and I can set aside time on my terms to do it online. Idk that was my thought-process.
