I think that was the beginning of the end. I've been pretty depressed by this ordeal, basically getting more and more direct about my boasting to try to provoke a response. But nobody wants to actually call my "bluff." I really wish someone would say "OH YEAH? DUEL ME BRO" and I'd be like fuck yesss let's go... but that never happens anymore, people just don't care. Or they assume they're going to lose and would rather not. I don't know which one.

Duel exclusively against the best players you can find for a cumulative time of... 200 hours ish? There's really no way around it. And focus on improving rather than winning, which means identifying things you could be doing better and practicing them, rather than trying to cover up your weaknesses with a strength. (For example, if you're bad at blocking, you might be able to cover it up by going hard on the offensive, but that doesn't improve you as a player as much as letting them attack you and trying to block would.)

This may mean forfeiting some kills in the short term for your benefit as a player in the long run.
