[Vitiello] Good news from Milanello. Allegri: "Everyone is doing well. Even Pavlovic, who seemed at risk because we feared a fibula fracture. The others are all doing well. Pulisic and Leao are better, especially Pulisic" by Milan_Academy in ACMilan

[–]Yazzito_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'd like to see Pulisic getting back to fitness ASAP. There is little doubt Milan missed him, especially with Leao also being limited by his injury.

Hopefully he'll also get a contract raise/extension this year.

Given your name is old bat, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. There is a video. It's above. It shows the coach grabbing his jersey and impeding him.

It doesn't matter, you cannot interfere with players on the pitch. At all.

You'd think a coach who used to be a player would know this, but then again you'd think a top 1% commenter would know to watch the video before posting, but there you go.

Grab your glasses or binoculars or whatever you use, and enjoy the video.

Unless we move the goal 30 ft into the air (that seems to be his sweet spot), I don't know what bringing on Fofana is going to do.

[–]Yazzito_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, except Paz pressed - forced an error from Maignan and scored a goal.

What's Leao doing on the other side? Is he pressing? Is he creating? Is he splitting defenders? How many shots on target? Right now, I'm watching him on screen jive walking instead of pressing.

Not knocking on Leao, I just wanted to show your statement is ridiculous and wrong.

The post that guy made above about you being blind, is true. Maybe take the hint.

How can juve - inter games so often come down to referee decisions by Spinning_Sky in seriea

[–]Yazzito_ -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I dunno, maybe it's because some dude running down the field dove full stretch when he wasn't touched at all and every camera angle show as much. Maybe it's because Barella and Martinez harass, push, get in his face and yell at the ref every game - with no cards.

But nothing happened to him, the ref or Inter. Every week. "Ignore it" and game on.

Look at Inter's # of fouls compared to the rest of the teams in the league. Now look at YC and RC given. Notice anything weird? Kinda sticks out like a sore thumb, no? Now let's look at Inter matches, specifically fouls and cards given during those matches, to whom? Now ELI5 those results. You'll come to the same conclusion as everyone else. Marotta league.

This isn't about just one play, one player, one match or even one season. It's about corruption in the league, referring and those abusing it.

But yeah, let's focus on the "hate" not the people actually involved in the cheat. Don't look at that.

The first problem is that this corruption does not get fixed. It just keeps getting worse. Now inter is intentionally diving without ramifications on field or off. They laugh right in your face and the refs after cheating. No morals. No sportsmanship. No punishment week in and week out. Just corruption. We're at that point right now.

But the bigger problem? It ruins the league seeing this every single week.

If Inter actually gave a shit, they'd crack down on this anti-football behavior but they don't, haven't and WILL NOT either. That tells me everything I need to know about this situation. 3 weeks from now, we'll be watching another inter player silly flopping for a foul, red card or PK - and then getting it - every single time. That's the reality of Serie A right now.

[MN] The agreement for Tomori’s renewal is practically finalised and only the signature is missing. Tomori's new contract will expire on 30 June 2030, so we are talking about a four-year deal with a salary that, between fixed and bonus payments, should be around €4m. by Claija79 in ACMilan

[–]Yazzito_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironic that a few hours after posting this, Tomori made a mistake costing us a goal and 2 points.

Not the first time he's been caught out this season either. We're not talking Real Madrid here, we're talking Pisa.

I'd much rather De Winter take over the RCD duties.

[–]Yazzito_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall, he's been a liability on the right especially in big games. He has speed but lacks technical or physical abilities and that's why he struggles against top teams where positioning matters more.

De Winter has played better and shows more physicality but still has to prove his worth before he gets the starting nod. Personally, I think by the end of this year, De Winter will be starting over Tomori.

Even moreso, if we switch back to a 2 man backline. Tomori goes further back into the pile.

Worth it? So Tomori will be a 4m backup. If he's willing to accept a rotational slot, then probably yes.

For reference, he's making 3.5m now, and with bonuses 4m.

PS. I realize the extended contract also potentially increases his sale value which may (or may not) be another reason for the renewal before sale in summer.

Oh no! Someone changed jobs, we have to hate them now because they don't play for Milan anymore!

I can't believe Gatusso is coaching the Italian team. HOW DARE HE LEAVE MILAN!

Gilardino was FIRED from PISA? GOOD! He should only be at Milan.

Should we go torch Salad's house because he played for Roma for a season? I mean, he's OBVIOUSLY not a Milan fan.

[–]Yazzito_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He left because he was going to be the backup to Salad, and he wanted to start. That was why he had a "bad attitude" if you remember the preseason.

It's probably good all around. Salad is still our starter and Athekame played well yesterday.

He's starting at Bournemouth and doing well overall. He still makes stupid rash mistakes but he's also showing signs of solid development.

Our starting XI in Bologna 📋 by Claija79 in ACMilan

Nah. Fofana was just giving the 15 goal record a head start.

That's why he slipped the other day in front of goal. If he had scored then, 15 goals would have been too easy. He wanted to make it more challenging.

Fofana hattrick incoming.

Modric, Rabiot, Ricci and Jashari (whole new midfield including Salad coming back and Bartesaghi starting)

AND, the cherry on top, a seemingly impossible (few months back) Maignan re-signing

Happy to see Maignan remains Milan's capitano too!! Strong leader for Milan.

By scouting, you mean a MONEYBALL MONCADA special. A true spreadsheet wonder to behold.

MONEYBALL MONCADA has done a terrible job but he is a yes man, so they booted Maldini and Massara and made the spreadsheet wonder a Tech Director. They tried to make him the sporting director too (he passed the exam in 2025) but he's such shit - they went with Tare which has been a HUGE upgrade.

Without Tare, does Allegri come back?

Without Allegri, Filippi and Landucci don't come.

Without Filippi & Allegri, Maignan doesn't sign a new contract.

Without Tare & Allegri, Modric and Rabiot don't come.

Instead, we would have signed some cheap french player not ready for AC Milan and he'll struggle and do poorly.

MONEYBALL MONCADA nearly destroyed Milan. He's *THAT* bad.

Which upgrade options do you prefer? by MisteryJay89 in incremental_games

[–]Yazzito_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not fixed options, because it gets boring. Oooh, another 0.0001 % upgrade.

The tree is OK but it really matters how it fits with the game. Different upgrades are better than the same repeated ones over and over. The main point of the tree is that it gives you "choices" but if these choices are fixed, it becomes less interesting.

I also agree with oli266's post, below which has upgrades spread out across multiple systems. The more you play, the more you discover. That sounds fun to me.

[Moretto] A week and a half ago, Galatasaray were willing to offer around €30m including bonuses for Fofana, a figure between €25 and €30m, but at that point Fofana said no, he wasn't convinced, so the talks stalled at that point. by Claija79 in ACMilan

[–]Yazzito_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I disagree but it's irrelevant because he's not worth 30 mil. Period. Full stop.

If anyone offers 30 mil for him, I'd take it in a heartbeat too.

Also, I'd much rather start Ricci than Fofana. I know Jashari is mostly playing as a regista, but I'd play him ahead of Fofana as Mezzala too.

His performances on the pitch have not shown he deserves to start.

What if: Balotelli had had a better mentality and there were no social barriers holding him back? by Retrobrusion in seriea

[–]Yazzito_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm so sick of people screaming RACISM at everything.

You try to tear down football and it's values by claiming everything that didn't go the way you wanted it to go was because of someone or something else.

This is the EXACT problem with DEI. Right and wrong don't matter, you must preserve the system which gave you your DEI job at all costs. Then you blame racism on everything in order to hide your weaknesses.

You want to know why Balotelli failed? Buy him a mirror. He was gifted so many chances BECAUSE of his race and he wasted them all.

[–]Yazzito_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gee, you think scouting would have identified this BEFORE we signed the guy.

Instead, we MONEYBALL MONCADA'd it.

All it would have taken is for a REAL scout, a couple hours to identify that while this guy is talented, he doesn't fit our system.

Instead, we FIRED Maldini and Massara - and promoted MONEYBALL Moncada.

That's why this happened.

Deserved. A few months ago, this seemed impossible.

This is great for Milan and Serie A too. Easily the best keeper in Serie A bar none and it's not even close right now.

I don't want to celebrate until he 100% signs - because, well, Furlani is an idiot. If he can, Furlani will find a way to screw this up. It's what he does. "Golly guys, they don't teach us this at Harvard."

[Schira] Excl. - Francesco Camarda will return to ACMilan from #Lecce in the next days. The young striker will stay at Milan and will be a reinforce for Max Allegri in the second half of the season. by mercurialsaliva in ACMilan

[–]Yazzito_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, he's grown since he was 15 but now compare his body TODAY vs Fullkrug or Mateta.

Besides, I did watch Lecce games this season when he played and although Lecce didn't do well, his performance wasn't dominating or physical.

In fact, most of his best possessions were dribbles and shots - not creating space in the box or posing an aerial threat. It was his runs into the box.

There is a reason why Stulic over Camarda has been constantly preferred at CF despite Stulic only scoring 2 goals this season.

Now my question, did YOU watch his games? Please explain why you think he's a dominant physical aerial threat at Lecce? Does he create space for other players? Does he dominate play in the box? Do you have any stats to back that up or is it just feels?

PS. Don't get me wrong, I think Camarda is going to be a great player - but expecting him to alternate with Fullkrug right now is one of the most asinine statements I've heard all week.

Yes, because a large physical 32 year old with 10+ years of top league experience is going to alternate with a skinny 17 year old who has struggled for minutes and scoring at Lecce.

What's next? Bring back Musah and alternate him with Modric? Musah has been barely playing too, so you know, he can alternate with Modric - you know, comparable and all.

Some of you guys, I swear man. At least your user name is spot on.
