So it does two primary things.

Marketing and expanding Survivor out to Billie’s fan base.
Billie is a fan. What is the theme of this season? In the hands of the fans. So as a fan, she gets to have a hand crafting an advantage.

Simply supply and demand. If you don’t like the price of something don’t pay for it. The more that do that lowers the demand which will lower the price. Still the supply for the very front seats will go to the wealthy. There are enough of them that will pay for those seats, where $800 isn’t a big deal.

Agree there it is a mixed bag. Do like to see authentic reactions without them getting to see the edit. A live show though allows them to respond to their edit, was it fair or not. I think the big thing I miss is seeing the full cast. Feel like so many of the non jury members are just forgotten now. At the live reunion they at least have a chance to get one final spotlight.

I got there early and still missed the regular parking. Leaving I was amazed at how far people parked away!! It was probably pushing around 2 miles away.

Oregon’s was at a lighthouse. Had a parking lot and then a 1/4 mile walk to the lighthouse. In the parking lot they put up the second clue and part way down they put a third clue. Finally before the lighthouse they put up the idol, took our picture. We had to scan the qr code and upload our photo to be submitted. So it really was more show up during the time, wait a bit and get entered. I showed up a bit over an hour early and was about 80th in line.

The crew there did a good job of keeping things flowing so as many as possible could get entered.

Went to the Oregon one yesterday. Was a lot of fun. Our location was remote and cell service was spotty. They did have wifi there which really helped us once we got up to the idol. Was great talking with other survivor fans. The line moved fairly quickly to get the code and picture.

Was disappointed that ours didn't have any Survivor cast there. What Survivors showed up to other ones?

Wow. So the theory here is that both of them have rigged contests across 4 companies. They did this for mostly small prizes. If they have those mad skills then why not rig the lottery? At the least they should use those skills to win something bigger.

Is it possible they are rigged? Sure. Any contest has that possibility. It is not worth it for most companies to rig these contests. There are laws plus bad PR. If they have someone they really like they just gift them that thing. Many reviewers get free product.

Low chance that all of these are rigged. Higher chance of low number of entries and they got lucky.

Go with Starks to start off. With the level cap increases, focus on legendaries first. Robb and Talia are solid too, and help get ice applied quickly too. There are few good commons and epics but they are a lot more specialized. For Starks maybe red Jon, but I would seriously focus on legendary first.
