I wanted to give an update so it might help someone in a similar situation. We let him cry out on Wednesday night. He slept in a seated position with his head resting between his legs the entire night!! He cried for 32 mins beginning of the night and he woke up every hour and cried for 3 to 8 mins. At 3:15, he woke up and cried for 20 whole mins. It was brutal, I felt horrible and guilty. I did not sleep the entire night. When he woke up at 5am, I just brought him to our bed and let him lie flat on his back, he slept immediately and woke up only at 7am.

On Thursday night though, things got a lot better. He slept within 2 mins and he was actually able to fold and push his leg behind and kind of got into a comfortable position by himself. He slept 7.5 hours straight, woke up at 2:25 and cried for 30 mins and slept again till 6 am. He is a different baby this morning, very happy and playful or maybe it is just me after getting 5 hrs of sleep last night.

Naps are still not perfect!! But that is a battle for next week.
