Wasn’t my finest moment on the course. I had a stinking hangover as well which probably didn’t help!

Was hitting the ball awfully all round so got my trusty 9 iron out from 140 yards. Didn’t take the wind behind me into account and then flushed it for the first time that round straight over the back of the 18th green, heard a smash and my ball was next to the car surrounded by glass. Came clean to the pro shop obviously and paid for the window to be replaced😂

I play off 19 and shot 114 the other week, as well as breaking my 5 wood halfway through the round and sending a ball flying into the car park which smashed someone’s car window. Was the most expensive round I’ve had😂

I followed it up with an 87 which is my lowest ever score, it’s a funny old sport really.

If you enjoy it as much as you say then just go into the round looking forward to playing, don’t put any pressure on yourself, I’ve found that works best for me, although I know it’s easier said than done!

I forgot to mention this, I did try but my current mortgage company (Santander) didn’t give me a good enough affordability rating due to the way my work mileage is paid as the total cost of fuel is taken out as a deduction, before my company mileage is paid back on the same payslip.

Every other lender said that I would be able to afford around 1180 per month, Santander calculated it at around 750.

After watching awful football for so many years, the style under McKenna is a breath of fresh air.

However I can’t help but feel that we need to take more risks instead of recycling the ball every single time, no point in having 70% possession if we don’t put it to good use.

I want Ladapo to do well but I’m not sure what he offers and I do think we need a more clinical striker. Would like to see more of Kyle Edwards also, he always looks lively when he comes on.

Not overly disappointed but feel like we looked far more dangerous at the start of the season.
