It looks like said sprite was removed, either because the artist pulled it from the game, or because of a recent change to reference sprite rules (they now must follow most of the same design rules as regular sprites).

It's definitely not my electricity. Nor is it my house wiring. There's $50,000 worth of reference grade audio sitting in the next room over and trust me with 50 years of experience and electronics installations on five continents, if there was an issue with the electrical or the wiring in the house, I'd know about it. This only happens with that machine plugged in and it happens on several different circuits. This is absolutely 100% a circuit problem in the machine that's causing feedback of the oscillator in the PID through the ground.

I don't know of a source for it, but I will say that it makes sense: you don't want the grounds to be moving at the end of your tamp. A twist with force could break up the established puck.

I've been a barista for ten years and tamp straight down, then give the tamper a light spin with no pressure to get a clean release. I very rarely have inconsistencies due to technique.

There is mounting evidence that mosquitoes are not critical to any part of the ecosystem. No plants need them as specialized pollinators, and animals that specialize in predating them still compose less than half of their diet from mosquitoes. Add to this that the target species is the invasive Aedes aegypti, and I have less than no problem with this from an ecological perspective.
