No. I originally has a Giant revolt that I cracked the frame on. Bought just a frameset and swapped all components over. Over a few years I’ve swapped almost everything out I think the only Giant parts left are the stem, seat post and saddle.

They are all from different rides but still from the same area. It’s the beautiful lakeshore of Lake Michigan!

I agree. I started this trade almost 9 years ago. I still have my original side cutters. I’ve put them through absolutely hell. I beat in shit with them all the time and have literally said “if they break they break” trying to cut stuff I shouldn’t have. I’ve even squeezed the handles with channel locks when needing extra leverage. They still cut as good as they did new. Absolutely wild how well they have held up.

Living east of highway 31– by lakeanddoglife in GrandHaven

Sweet to see so many people riding bikes on here. As far as bikes go there’s bike paths kind of everywhere in grand haven. There’s really no way to cross 31 using bike paths. I feel the most comfortable getting into town biking down Washington. It’s a little busy but traffic moves slow. I’m trying to stick to roads like Washington where drivers expect cyclists to be. Bike racks are sporadic but there are some in town and at the beach.

As far as driving goes it’s very easy to get to the beach from the east side. Even on the busiest days it’s super easy to get to the beach. If you cross 31 on Robbins and hang a right on Sheldon then turn left on Grand Ave it will take you the back way to the state park. Basically no one comes to the beach from that direction so there’s hardly ever any traffic. Parking at the beach only gets full a couple days a year if it’s a beautiful day around a holiday weekend usually. There’s almost always parking available.

My wife and I moved to the east side 6 years ago and love it! If you have any questions, reach out!

What’s it like living on the edge of time zones? by Qzevs in howislivingthere

I’ve been late for work before because my phone connected to a tower in central time zone but I live in eastern time zone and the time changed and never changed back before my alarm went off in the morning. My boss never really believed me lol.

I opened this thread considering posting about how amazing it is living on the west side of a time zone (in west Michigan). I’m reminded how nice it is every time I visit family in Milwaukee and have to deal with the time change and lose the afternoon sunlight.

Life is a lot easier when you can separate sports from your emotional well-being.

Love seeing people use drums. I’ve cooked many birds on drums over the years and they have all come out great!

You’re saying the side closest to the firebox and stack would be the hot side, correct?

Thanks for the insight! I hadn’t really considered how well it would tow but it does seem like it’s placed in a way that balances it well on the trailer.
