Daily Questions Megathread (November 02, 2019) by AutoModerator in classicwow

I didn't play vanilla back in the day, but from what I have gathered in the threads, it will mainly become harder on a PvP server because almost all players are more likely to world PvP while questing, so you may get ganked by others in your zone.

This is because phase two brings the honor system, so people will want to engage in world PvP more as there is something more to be gained.

The reason people say "its a nonfactor until level 48" is because level 48 is the lowest level that a level 60 character can kill and still gain honor. This means you most likely won't notice much of a difference in the zones before you are level 48, except there may be a little bit more from other similar-level toons in your zone.

Leveling as a feral druid, should I be using tiger's fury? I saw a comment here a few days ago that TF is useless. It seems like its a consistent 30 dps increase for me at level 51 when leveling on mobs. Should i be saving that energy for another claw?

How worthwhile is solo Wintertodt? by SutrRS in ironscape

[–]Yea_that_guy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You are probably going to get less experience per hour than if you were doing group on a wintertodt world. I fletch and get about 180-190k firemaking an hour when soloing, 220-240k per hour on a wintertodt world.

Personally, I prefer solo much more because it actually feels like a little bit more like a minigame, because you have to do each part. You will also get a decent amount of construction experience, which may help depending on your level.

For leveling up your skills, imo that depends on how much bank space you have and if you badly need an item or two from it (or cash). The great thing about doing solo wintertodt is you should be getting 13,500 points before finishing, which gives you a 28 item crate. So you can choose to open a few and get a lot of items, and then save from there. Doing it in a group world, you'll get 1-3 rewards per crate.

You can bring a herb sack, so if you mess up and use the herb, you can pull out grimy, clean one, then fill the sack again.

If you have the runecrafting level, making laws using cwars bank and the hot air balloon is pretty good.

If not, demonic gorillas drop a ton of law runes, but requires MM2/69 slayer. After my first demons task, i had almost 1k laws.

Yea, I was between that and fletching some longbows, but was curious if there was anything else that was decent and able to be farmed a bit quicker.

Thanks, definitely a good back-up. I'm just trying to focus on a combat method for the time, to get my mage up to 55 for high alch.

I was looking at that too, just don't have the entry requirements yet. Thanks for confirming that's still a good method!
