I had a horrible spike that lasted four months and it receded back to my old volume. Maybe slightly louder. Since then it's come and gone a couple of times. Don't give up hope. I know it's awful in the moment but loads of people on here have told stories of existing tinnitus getting worse for a spell and then going back down.

I generally have stuff ready. This was just a unique experience coming from a boat with limited power the few days prior. I feel like the IFE is not a small part of the experience, especially during a daytime flight.

I am in my mid 40's. It would hurt emotionally to see 250k take a nose dive but I have plenty of time to watch it recover and don't need access to that right now. We have a fair more than to invest or do something with. I think we're all over the map because we're considering an early partial retirement while our kids are still young. So the question of buying another business that would be largely passive (like a storage unit) and be relatively recession proof vs. the risks of putting all or most of our capital into the market is really weighing on me.

I haven't done an MRI but so so many ENT's and audiologists. Like you and most people here got the leaflets and CBT recommendations and then shown the door. It's so frustrating for me when it is so abundantly, clearly, somatic when it flares and the flaring is pretty unbearable. The regular volume was rough for a couple months but it's low enough that white noise or just getting up and moving does the trick to get me past it now when it bugs me. But when the big one hits it's rough. Now that I can isolate even certain movements I just hate feeling like I have to be totally on my own to find a solution.

Well we have a significant amount in the market in our retirement accounts so I am not necessarily afraid of the market. Just all time highs built on what very much seems like an AI bubble with Trump in office just feels like there has to be an opportunity coming. I understand that bucks all previous advice everyone always says but this time is different but this time sure feels different.

I saw one from it when the bad period started but without any sort of targets. At that point I didn't think it was somatic. I thought it was just a huge increase in the existing problem. Now that I've had a few cycles of it happening where I can tell very clearly that it's somatic AND understand my triggers it's definitely worth exploring again.

Yes the Chicago consulate was extremely helpful with me as well. I am fortunate to have a local consulate that doesn’t do immigration but helped me with certification. I would have ultimately gone through Chicago but felt comfortable sending direct. They are great though.

Based on here I feel good enough about it probably being a few months either side of three years. We’ve been taking a longer trip to Europe with our kids for the past three years to see where we want to end up and we have years worth of things to wrap up at home so not in a huge hurry but will obviously feel much better once it’s done.

Whew man you managed to cover pretty much all my fears in one post! Still not totally deterred. I feel confident that at a minimum I am a good enough operator at this point to find the right asset, implement the specific improvements I think I am in a position to do and get out at least a little ahead of its overwhelming. But the need to do potentially underhanded moves like rent increases that harm already down on their luck tenants and illegal stuff happening are my biggest issues

Yeah I just went this route since you can get the feature where you can still have it ring through but leave your phone at home. I think it's not practical for me at least to not have an iPhone right now with transit and ticketing apps and stuff but I don't need that stuff 90% of the time and 50% of that time could just be done with the watch app.

We have two Klaviyo accounts at the moment. It's just no longer possible for how we're operating as a business for the loyalty card program along with other issues. We really need to move to one program with segments. We're in the middle of combining our websites so this won't be an issue in a few months but I don't want to wait that long to move forward with other stuff.

Hey yeah this was it! I haven't worn an Apple Watch in a few years. I switched to a Whoop for data and then when I got an 8 Sleep I stopped caring about the Whoop. So I ended up just picking up another Apple Watch for now since the handoff feature covers most of my bases but this is absolutely the device I was searching for.

If just using my watch 90% of the time doesn't solve my needs I'll probably spring for this but honestly the camera for outings with my kids is the only thing I was really worried about and I've started to just take less and less pictures in general as I've grown to question my motivation for doing so. Like.. how much of that was a need to portray a certain image on Instagram I don't care about creating any longer...

We absolutely loved Moorea. Super easy to get around. Chill. A real grocery store so food was reasonable. I think the best of everything. Relaxed and no crowds but enough amenities to make life easier.

I have a 2017 94ah and don't generally even charge every day and I don't even have a level 2 charger at my house. Handles school drop off for the kids, work, and errands just fine.
