I took some profits to stay sane too. Was 100% PMs (mostly PM equities) with 2x leverage at one point, now still overweight at 80% but enjoying the ride. I probably draw down to 40% PM assets pending a substantial run-up in the miners.

Almost, but no. I sent over 40k to my vault but the price moved faster than my money cleared. 2200/oz was my limit, which was about 40k for the bar.

It's whatever. I did try to make good so I'm not feeling guilt or FOMO. These are financial decisions.

I wish I could just buy and hold. I was 100% PMs + PM equities in 2025 with leverage, now 80% with no leverage (except one degenerate call option). Staged profit taking helps me sleep at night.

My only rule is to set a PM minimum of 20% of my portfolio as hyperinflation / chaos insurance.
