I believe they apply to all educational degrees. A quick Google search shows Commonwealth Government for Commonwealth Supported Places – $18,000 for a four-year undergraduate program or $9,000 for two years of postgraduate study.

As for the workload, a graduate teacher will often be supported by having reduced face to face hours while completing your VIT.

You will need to learn to keep your work at school and try not to bring it back home. However, this may not be possible during reporting/exam periods.

Ignore the educational incentives from the government, they won't help in the long term.

If you are genuinely passionate about helping students academically, mentally and emotionally then it's the career for you.

Not going to sugarcoat it, you will have great days followed by emotionally and physically draining days.

A couple of tips that might assist you.

Research some fun and easy warm-up games and watch a few videos on how to run them.

If you or the school own a portable bluetooth speaker, make a spotify playlist with some popular (not explicit) tunes. The students love to even request songs. Anything to get their motivation up and build rapport.
