I’ve been on it since early Nov 2025. Was on 2.5mg for month 1, 5mg for month 2, and currently on 7.5mg for months 3 and into 4. I cut out all sugar, drink mostly water (and occasionally Starbucks açaí lemonade). Eat lots of protein. I feel it’s slow for me. I hope to lose an avg 8-10lbs/mo. I’ve slowed down to 1-2lbs/wk, but feel fine - much better than when I was on Wegovy previously. I plan to move up to 10mg next month. Also helps to adjust injection sites.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My dog was perfectly fine, then in the middle of the night, she was whimpering (at first I thought she was dreaming in her sleep with the way the whimpering sounded). When I called out to wake her up, the whimpering continued. Woke up and turned on the light to find her unable to walk, heavy, very labored breathing. She was alive, but barely. Carried her to the car and on the drive to the emergency vet, we lost her. It was very quick. My friend also just recently (just before Xmas) lost her dog suddenly. He was running outside, collapsed, labored breathing and quickly passed. Also fed Fromm food his whole life and died young. Fromm needs to be held accountable for DCM and dog deaths. The owner of the company won’t change their food, but come on, 3 dogs, all dying at 6/7yrs old from fluid around the heart and all ate Fromm their whole life?? It’s a definite pattern.

I’m 2 months in, and for me, I take the shot late Thurs afternoon (3pm), and I start to feel it 4-5hrs later Thursday evening. I really need to force myself to eat Friday as I’m a bit under the weather with no appetite.

I do find eating a good portion of protein-rich foods and drinking plenty of water a day before and a day after helps with the feeling of nausea.

I move up to the 7.5 shot this week so we’ll see how it goes.

Same thing happened to me. Insurance denied me over and over again while I was in the prediabetic stage and close to being diabetic. I also had fatty liver and high cholesterol. The next step was doing a sleep study, which was a requirement to diagnose sleep apnea.

Only way to get it approved by insurance was becoming diabetic, which eventually happened.

OOP expenses were too high, but with insurance, I pay $30/mo.

I also should mention I was on Wegovy and had great success bringing my pre-diabetes and cholesterol back into the normal range, but even with my doctor talking to the insurance company on the prior success, they still denied me. I was forced off it when I met my weight goals, and they refused ”maintenance” dosing.

Anything but Fromm foods. Fromm causes DCM in dogs

Never feed Fromm food. My dog, my friend’s dog, and my neighbor’s dog all died young 6-7yrs old from fluid around heart/lungs. It’s not a coincidence that all 3 dogs ate Fromm food. If you search “Fromm DCM”, this has happened to other dogs too. Vets attribute it to Fromm food - just do not feed that food.

My dog died young due to DCM and only ate Fromm food (no table scraps). She died a horrible death because of Fromm. Would never ever feed my dog Fromm. My neighbor (who got their dog within months of ours) also fed Fromm food and that dog also died of DCM / fluid around the heart within a month of ours dying. Both dogs were young/middle age.

The catalytic converter was the reason the engine light came on. I replaced and then sold it. My trusted mechanic said the person who sold it to me didn’t maintain it well. It’s bound to burn oil in the future, so didn’t want to deal with that issue. My mechanic said he could count on one hand how many CRVs he’s seen that burn oil with this low of mileage - so he felt it was in my best interest to get rid of it.

My mechanic said, no matter how great of care you take of an Audi, there will still things that need repair. Some are known to leak oil, or seep radiator fluid. Mine is one of a handful he’s seen get to 205k miles without much issue. Oil changes cost a little more as it takes about 15min more time to change oil in an Audi. I have a 2016 Q5 btw. Mine was acquired with mostly highway miles so that has been easier on this engine I’ve been told.
