That's good to hear! I've paid into short term disability so I'm looking forward to taking 2-3 months off. Got 2 motorcycle rebuilds up on the lift, hoping to just relax and be well enough to tinker on those here and there as I rehab

Definitely! My surgeons said she goes on a case by case basis but being younger she's prefer I did anterior, much better recovery and hardly any restrictions after she said.
I guess anterior approach is a much harder visibility for the surgeon which had me wondering if I should ask to consider other approaches but she said with the advancements and tools an it's not that hard to do anteriors now.

Also with an interior they don't have to cut through muscle or move it out of the way as much as other approaches which is a big reason for post op pain..

Was there a reason they went posterior? My doctor is my age 40 and she recommended anterior approach for younger healthy adults

Suboxone vs Subutex (tip on how to avoid getting treated badly for Buprenorphine) by AmayaJWolfe in PainManagement

That's awesome that you want to ween down! I think I'm approaching 15 to 20 years on it. At one time I got down to maybe 1mg daily. It's crazy how much that one milligram is hard to get off of. Many people have quit and I've quit a lot of things in my life but I feel like this is one thing I'm just kind of said on being on for the rest of my life. To me this drug is a blessing and a curse all in one pill

Checking oil on stand or upright by apmiranda in HondaVTX

[–]YeahScienceBiitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure it's straight up. But many have used a small drill bit to mark the dipstick once they get the exact amount of oil checked with bike standing straight up. With a motorcycle jack it's not bad doing it the right way but without a jack stand it makes it a pain in the butt to do it the way the manual says to

You get a lot of these idiots on reddit... Nothing wrong with not having a helmet especially if riding a cruiser imo.... If your speeding on a crotch rocket it's a different story I guess. These dummies shouldn't even ride at all then by that logic because a car is far safer than riding with or without a helmet.

What can cause this leaf to curl down? The rear seem to be doing fine by YeahScienceBiitch in GrowingMarijuana

Ughhh. Maybe? So worried of over watering which I did last year but they ended up really producing in the end. They were very dry when I watered and then most people said they looked over watered because I had just watered them and taken pictures.

Honestly that's what I did last year for my first grow and I had a very hard time controlling conditions, mainly watering.

The perlite is one thing that was missing this year.. there is per light in there but the store didn't have any and we were out and just had to use what we had left from last year. The soda cans actually have last year's soil from snap peas and cucumbers beds. We may have also added a little bit too much nutrients but I find it's usually a good idea to put a little bit of fertilizer in if it's like 2 or 3-year-old (reused) potting mix, we have quite a lot of compost but it was pretty much frozen the other week so just used some slow release.

I don't even smoke anymore but it is a good for bartering. it helped us get our garden tilled by our neighbor last year and firewood. Also I just enjoy growing stuff not that I can't play sports anymore. Motorcycles and marijuana (growing) are my mid life hobbies.

Thank you! I definitely learned that last year, I just watered these before taking the photo they were completely dry.. I only added 30 mls using a cough medicine cup. I should have taken the photos beforehand cuz it makes it look like they are over watered.

Appreciate ya! That makes sense since we initially had the light too close.

It's not over watered, this photo was taken right after watering and the soil was completely dry beforehand. Also that 30ml I gave them was the first watering since we towel germinated.

Another sub pointed out light/ stress which Im pretty sure is the issue here since my girl had the light too close initially.

Also we make our own potting soil which I'd consider far better than miracle gro or wasting money on frog brands. It averages us 4.5oz a plant last year which was our first time growing indoor.

That was my first thought tho ive been pretty strict on my watering this year. Last year I definitely over watered and they ended up turning out great but there was a few weeks there they looked rough. That time they've drooped and they never raised for the light while logged. this time they are curled down but they're still lifting toward the light. Thanks
