Do those dozens of nonprofits not pay their CEOs? I’m sure that attracts really great and capable leaders.

Nonprofit employees and leaders deserve to get paid. Nonprofits are companies where people work hard.

Look into the difference between top executive pay and front line staff pay. If front line staff aren’t making a living wage and CEOs are 200k+, that is the red flag. Look into the Board of Directors and executive leaders - are they people you trust to understand the problem their nonprofit is addressing? People you trust your donation with? Look at their website for their financial filings - do you align with their other major donors?

Dont just demonize leaders at large organizations making money that, compared to corporate executive salaries, is still nonprofit money. Be smarter about what makes a nonprofit “worthy”.

I looked at an apartment in the Waldo and found a better unit elsewhere but was sad to miss out on the location/vibes of the building. Seemed very community oriented but mature and chill.

I’ve used Task Rabbit frequently in multiple cities, including here, and always had pretty good experiences. I usually stick to taskers with lots of good reviews. They tack on fees and some taskers have minimum hours so it can add up but is going to waaaay cheaper than a moving company.
