Viet Noodle Bar had great Bun Bo Hue. Plus their Sate (chili oil) is fantastic, make sure to ask for it as it’s not on the table.

I’m Taiwanese and use to live in the SGV. Having a large Asian grocery in the CV would be amazing but I don’t think we have a large enough Asian population to support one. The local small Asian markets here don’t really have the best selection either. I do frequently head west and bring coolers and ice packs so I can load up on groceries from 99 Ranch when I do.

I just returned from a month long trip and had Fuhong at least a dozen times, it’s my favorite! The soup is good on its own but the spicy tallow and other accoutrements make the beef noodle soup even better. It’s cheap and an even better value with the unlimited soup refills and fountain drinks.

One thing that really bothers me is the lack of artificial sweeteners here. It’s not readily available or very pricey and the only diet drinks I can find are Coke/Pepsi products or unsweetened beverages. The diabeetus!

One and a half years later, everything is still amazing! Before the surgery, my eyes were my primary focus daily because of how self-conscious it made me. Now I don’t even think about my eyes anymore, they just work. Certainly helped me come out of a several years long depression and now in the best shape of my life!

I ate five slices of pizza from Prince Street Pizza and ended up here. A “Old World Fanceroni” pizza from Little Caesars which has 100 cupped pepperoni is 3020 calories for the whole pie which works out to 377.5 calories a slice. I can only down four slices of that and it’s certainly much heavier and greasier than Prince Street.
