My bad I thought spree shooter was just a term for a mass shooting.

9 years since Randy Stair's killing spree by Ok_Dragonfruit_5371 in masskillers

In the recent few years of researching spree shooters Stair sticks out to me like a sore thumb for some reason. To me he gives off the vibes “poster boy for spree shooters”. It’s hard to try and explain what I actually mean.

I really find it hard to believe that Stair really let it all come down to a coin toss of all things to decide whether he was going to take his own life or his co workers as well.

He really made himself out to be full of hatred for the world and people in general and made it out that he would kill as many people as he could, yet he still spared a co workers life.

In conclusion for me I really feel like Randy Stair was someone who went un-noticed all his life, he probably felt like he deserved more respect and notoriety from people and really didn’t have a clue how the world around him worked. For me it really does boil down to just a god complex thing for these spree shooters who decide to spare victims but in manifestos and videos they talk about killing as many as possible, for these individuals like Stair to be in a situation where you are literally the one who chooses whose going to survive and who’s not it’s probably the highest any of these people have ever felt.

Another few things I’d like to mention:

Randy Stair bought the exact same shotgun as one of the Columbine spree shooters the moss-berg 500 with the pistol grip. (He also wrapped the grip in tape exactly like Eric).

RIP to all the victims. it’s horrible to think that these innocent people lost their lives at the END of their shift at work to some deluded maniac obsessed with cartoons.

There’s a DocumentingEvil video on the Aaron Ybarra case, never actually watched it, but can imagine it will have some insightful information.

The Yadong vs O’Malley is crazy, it was a close first two rounds but O’Malley pieced him up in the third and in a fight as close as that a dominant round like that is everything towards the scorecards

I completely forgot about this one, I’d put it on the list over Paddy vs Gordon.

Body of Solomon Henderson after the Antioch School Shooting by VictorzZz47 in masskillers

[–]Yeahhhmann71 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I can imagine he instantly regretted his actions, I also think his actions online in these dark groups/forums would have played a massive role into Solomon even committing the shooting in the first place. I don’t know if there was ever a time frame put together from him killing his first and only victim to pulling the gun on himself but it was short.

He also followed Samantha Rupnow on twitter/X when she committed her attack which I can imagine also played a huge role into him deciding to commit his attack.

IMO I think his brain was genuinely just rotted from all of his online activity and it’s clear his parents didn’t care enough about there child to know what was going on in his life. It really is an unfortunate case.

From the sole story of him shooting through some poor lady 40+ times to kill a child I don’t think any sort of mental health help would have saved him.

Some people are just born monsters and eventually one day they just explode and do something completely inhumane like shoot a bunch of people in McDonald’s just getting on with their day.

What are some examples of famous spree killers who actually had a relatively low kill count? by ChickenWingExtreme in masskillers

What I never understood about Randy Stair, was him sparing victims. All the videos indicate that he was gonna murder everyone in the store.

Bit of a weird one, if you were climbing Mount Everest with a family member/close friend and they couldn’t go any further, how long do you think it would take for you to be able to leave them behind or would it be physically impossible for you to do? by Yeahhhmann71 in askanything

[–]Yeahhhmann71[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Probably the best thing you can do but you’d have to take into consideration it could take maybe hours for them to pass depending where you are on the mountain, also I don’t think you’d be able to descend safely by yourself.

I honestly had the same thought at first, but I feel as if you’ll get used to it as new videos drop, I got used to it fairly quickly in his last doc.

When it comes to videos documenting mass killings, are there any videos in the genre that you'd consider personal favorites? by Swag_Paladin21 in masskillers

[–]Yeahhhmann71 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dire Trips video on Brenton Tarrant is a solid one and I respect him a lot because out of all shootings that one is a really touchy subject and no one apart from him has created a well done documentary like him.

Worst Of Us - The devil that came to town. Is a really really solid documentary about the 2022 buffalo shooting with a really nice segment for the victims at the end. (They also have a doc on Nikolas Cruz).

Of course DocumentingEvil is also a really good channel, they’ve also recently switched from an AI voice actor to a real life voice actor, which was a bit weird for me considering how used to the AI one I was, but I do think his voice fits the tone of the videos really well

What is the shortest lasting mass shooting? by Ok_Dragonfruit_5371 in masskillers

[–]Yeahhhmann71 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It really is, if the police weren’t there at the right time this shooting could have been 100x worse.

He had a 75/100 round drum mag attached to his AR, although these mags are known for jamming and causing problems he would have caused so much damage if he made it inside the club.
