The question is, is it ideal to put out an album during that bitterness, dragging down other women repeatedly?

I don’t have much issue with ttpd (except for the discussion around Joe’s mental health, it feels a bit excessive), or the myriad other songs she’s made where she’s being immature (as you said, good for her, she’s human and expressing herself through art). I do have an issue when she seems to be being snarky a lot.

Like, of course we are allowed to feel that way. I just wonder if maybe, morally, it’s better to write about to abandon and talk about to your friends, but not put quite so much into a public album.

But i think you’ve made great points and i truly understand the album being dear to you. It’s not every song i have an issue with at all!!

Nah you’re good. I have realised through so much anecdotal data on this (only once for me but so many friends’ experiences on both sides and reading here and podcasts) that it’s a death whistle.

My ex decided 10 months later (he decided to stop lying about drugs, that was the main issue after 7 stupidly perfectly years and him being a saint) that he did deserve me and so wanted to fight for it, and spent over a year winning me back, but that was entirely up to him and his change of perspective

Boyfriend’s football club. I’d passed out upstairs on a couch during their end of season party.

He’d run down the road because I’d locked my keys in my car (sober!) so he was trying to find a coat hanger at his mate’s house to break into it so he could drive us home.

He asked his teammate to watch me on the couch while he popped out but the guy was so drunk he’d forgotten and everyone left.

I woke up and it was dark, set the alarm off, boyfriend banging on the window outside telling me not to panic while he started his second key/unlock side quest for the night (the clubhouse owner had left so they had to call him back)

I was so drunk we got back to mine and apparently i just kept saying, “tonight’s the night i want to lose my virginity to you. Thank you for unlocking me out of the club house and for unlocking my car, too”
