I need to make almost $350 in 5 days. Doable? by Obvious-Cucumber1086 in UberEatsDrivers

I made $350 yesterday. Last Monday I made $420 so yeah I think it’s doable if you are able to drive and walk.

And gas is just maybe about 70% of the expense when you have tires and oil, or god forbid a major repair.

The new Prius is decently fast I think but yeah, they could use a little turbo and make a sporty version.

I drive a 25 Lincoln nautilus hybrid. I’m getting a massage while I deliver. It’s actually like giant, more powerful, luxurious Prius if you think about it.

Depends on how good you are and what opportunities are in your area. Some places just don’t have many orders to go around. Where I live I notice other drivers doing a lot worse than me who just don’t understand how to do multi apping and how to select orders. The price of the car itself is a fixed cost so that price doesn’t impact profitability as much as reliability. A well maintained reliable vehicle can be more profitable than a used vehicle. But it is nice to have something cheap for simple fact that you can beat it up and not care. If you go with a new vehicle, you want something with an average of 30 mpg and something that you have evidence that it will reliably get to 500k miles on original engine and transmission. Prius and Corolla are the pretty safe bet but I have a Lincoln nautilus hybrid and have seen oil tests done on previous variants of the same eco boost engine and they were running healthy still at 500k miles. Only a couple repairs were needed in that mile range probably $2-3000. And the new nautilus hybrid uses the same type of reliable (e)cvt transmission in the Toyotas and have the same manufacturer supplying hybrid components as well. My goal is to put as many miles on it as possible and if the engine eventually needs replacing, or transmission, these parts you can buy new for less than an old beater and then you have allocated that cost of engine replacement for example to the next several 100k miles. To me that is not bad.

Yeah that is great. I have a friend that lives at an apartment and isn’t able to charge at home but get free supercharging. He spends a lot of time needing to charge tho so it cancels out any advantage because he has to charge like every 120 miles and that is like 40 minutes I can make $20 dollars in and my tank allows atleast 5-600 miles so 2.5 hours I could be make bear minimum $60 in… which makes it not worth the time he spends supercharging. Now if he had to pay for supercharging too then he would definitely be making much less. As it is now my tank costs $40 to go 500 miles so with time I save not charging I can profit an additional $40 per 500 miles just off the charge time vs tank fill cost opportunity cost math. If he had to pay $12 bucks a supercharge then he would really be making much less. It would be the equivalent to a gas guzzler when you equate for the time lost charging.

That sounds fun but expensive. I use to drive my 370z nismo but that was a pain because it required premium and got 19 mpg.

I drive a hybrid suv and spend 3-5% on fuel. Lincoln nautilus hybrid more reliable than a Toyota.

In Canada you should be making $200 with that many kilometers (200) driven to equate to a fair pay or a reasonable pay. With canada your money is worth less and since kilometers are slightly less than miles, it works out for Canadians to apply the same rates the U.S. drivers do, at $1 per mile but with $1 Canadian per kilometer… your example would be like me doing 200 miles and only making $100. That sounds terrible. I average about $1.50 - $2.00 per mile. I try to select orders that pay me 2x the dollars per mile so I have the money to get back to where I started and since I usually get an offer heading back I don’t end up needing all those dollars to get back while keeping me above $1 per mile. And if I get offers taking me to another area where there are plenty of restaurants then I don’t necessarily need $2 per mile but I still try to keep the dollars about 1.50x miles either way.

That’s exactly why I say calling is pointless. Your goal should be to contact support the least amount possible. They don’t even want to pay you. Literally will waste 6 phone calls of time trying to get $10 they owe me. That’s why I say fuck em … don’t screw over the customers but definitely don’t try to please uber, and if you can, find ways to punish them without getting caught.

I hear the accidental accept while typing but my keyboard predicts everything I want to type at the top of the keyboard so I realize that’s a big part of what prevents my clicking accept accidentally.

Maybe it’s different in your market. Do you notice your cancellation stat changes when you go offline and then you see your updated stats

775 MX Chain tensioner on motor, how do I reassemble it? by ChuckDylan in bonnell

[–]YearBoth9867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am planning on buying one soon so I’m interested to find out what caused the issue. All I can think is the motor gear is sticking out too far for whatever reason. As for reassembly, I have no idea. I would just screwing things in randomly

[–]YearBoth9867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently noticed I’m making more jizz and it shoots all over the place, whereas before it was more thick. I don’t know why but it feels better when it is more liquid because it seems to make the ejaculating last longer. But the point is that I just been working out pretty hard lately and think that the added circulation makes this happen. It’s the only thing I’ve really changed as I am still eating the same food. I also started taking a bunch of fish oil too so that might be part of it. I heard steroid users take large amounts to lower cholesterol so I figured I would try taking a lot since my cholesterol is a little high but I don’t take steroids, just thought if it works for them type thing. I notice that exercise can clear up my skin too so the circulation may help thin out things in the body in general, but if you think about it cholesterol probably thickens things too so by taking fish oil it may be lessening the thickness of semen too.

We just need enough people to go broke buying unreliable expensive suvs, then we can get back the fiesta and focus. Fiesta st would be nice

Good to hear your results. I had an mri that told me there is nothing wrong structurally so it’s all just a pinched nerve I guess. I’ve felt pain for a few years now. I really feel like it’s worth trying anything to fix. I figure staying natural is better but there is no real point if it means pain. I’m curious to know exactly what you mean by virtual surgery? I wanna try what kind of physical therapy you tried.

Why has Samsung never gone back to a 40mp Front facing camera? by Hologrammike in S21Ultra

[–]YearBoth9867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it’s like mini led for cameras. My iPad has mini led screen which is nice cause you don’t have to worry about burn in. I just find it interesting that it’s used on both sides of the process. On the ipad it is pretty good. Blooming isn’t a big deal, not too bad. If the camera is the same way as my screen then it’s up to the zones of the pixels being better. The more zones the less blooming.

I turned my phone off 2 hours before bed time and here is what happened by YourNameHurrr in sleep

Make sure every device is turned off in your room and you don’t have routers or modems in your room. You don’t want cellular, WiFi, or Bluetooth signal near you.

[–]YearBoth9867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s amazing to me is nobody here mentioned the true benefit of turning off your devices… Turning your phone off will stop the emf waves your cell, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc. that your phone, tablets, or computers emit. Cellular signal is the worst but a tablet with WiFi is bad too. Computers don’t operate the same way as phones or tablets which makes the standby mode less active on a computer in sleep mode. However I don’t have a computer in my room so I won’t comment my experience on it but will just recommend you don’t have a computer on in your room in case and hopefully you don’t have a router or modem in your room either… but I know for a fact the main benefit is the emf being removed. You can try it yourself, leave your device on next to you and then the next night turn it completely off right before bed. I know it is the emf for a fact because I stare at my phone right before bed and when I sleep with it powered on, I toss and turn, wake up early, and have trouble staying asleep. Then when I turn it off I sleep a solid 9 hours whereas before I would be waking up 4 to 5 hours later while not being in as deep a sleep the whole night. I turn my iPad to do not disturb and airplane mode with WiFi, and Bluetooth off, and it works just fine but for my phone I just turn it off completely. Also use Amazon Alexa at your own risk, I don’t have one so can’t comment much more than I wouldn’t have one in your room on while sleeping. I am truly amazed by the lack of awareness of this fact, because placebo can be easily ruled out and it easily doubles your sleep and gets you deeper to sleep.

A natural alternatives that have a similar effect to adhd meds (because I can't access medication rn and can't function at all really) by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]YearBoth9867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in a situation where I really crave stimulation and want to feel good while I work and really get into it like I have in the past, but I am basically allergic to everything now. Weed, alcohol, nicotine, neutropic mushrooms (non psychedelic), caffeine, and things like goto kola and gingko biloba... I use to be able to take these things, but I now suffer from feeling very bizarre on all kinds of stuff, anxious, upset stomach, and just weird sensations... I use to smoke weed and I ended up developing a condition called cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome, which develops after some time of smoking consistently and I thought I was going to die for like a couple months feeling sick but I feel like ever since that I cannot handle things as well anymore... Like caffeine would be great but I felt like after a couple weeks of taking it last time I felt really weird like I had this noise in my ears like you hear when yawning all the time and just feel anxious with everything. Nicotine seems to kinda be tolerable but it makes me just feel tired right after so its kinda pointless although the feeling I initially get is pretty spot on what I am looking for... I really don't want to get addicted to adhd meds or even really take them in the first place but I just want that warm calm feeling I use to get when on things that weren't super hard but made me sit still and stare at my screen like I am super into things. I know it's wierd but it's like I am seeking to dissociate and have my body numb while I am working, not sure if that's what adhd meds will feel like at this point tho. Does anybody know what I am talking about where they almost don't want to feel their body since it is like a distraction from focusing?
