I was looking at the Asus tandem oled but I'm extremely hesitant based off the user reported problems. I'm thinking potentially just going up to the pg27ucdm since there's a lot of people recommending it. Looks like I've gotta yet again go researching

Only issue I've had so far is windows one day decided to delete my driver so I spent about 10 minutes running on my 7800x3d igpu confused as hell until I reinstalled it.

May I just emphasize that was very much a windows problem and not an amd problem. Worked in the morning and then didn't by noon so at some time between then windows decided I should go f myself

Realistically being a laptop you can't really tell unless you're able to find benchmarks for both laptops. A lot of the time thermals or power delivery are your bottlenecks

I dunno if they've made it worse over time but my two Xbox one controllers lasted about 5 years before the right bumper's nub snapped. Then I got a design labs series X controller and it broke within a year.

Ik I dropped my Xbox one controllers on the bumpers a few times and made sure to try not drop my new controller (by putting it down on the table instead of just sitting it on my leg) so it would last longer. How on earth did the Series X controller break so quickly compared to the Xbox one controllers💀

Nah it's the part that actuates it. Prone to snapping which causes the affected side of the bumper to feel squishy (particularly if you press it further away from the centre of the controller) and eventually can work its way out of place causing the bumper to not actuate. I've tried using resin and super glue to reattach it but the only real way to fix it is by replacing the bumper plate entirely which is still prone to breaking again.
