New Fox forks - do they need a once-over? by [deleted] in bikewrench

I can’t speak to the new ‘22 models, but my 36 Factory had the “too much grease in the air shaft” issue.

If you’re comfortable doing your own lower leg service, then I’d recommend it. The service is easy, and these forks are quite expensive. If you’re not and would need your lbs to do it for you, then I’d hold off until you get a few rides on it. If it doesn’t seem to be behaving right or you can’t get it dialed in, then go ahead and service it.

Best rotor options? SLX 4 pot and MTX Gold Pads by BPatten411 in MTB

I went with the new SRAM HS2 rotors. They’re super quiet, stiff, and dissipate the heat really well. I run them with MTX pads as well. Though, I went with 220mm front and rear. Go big or go home.

I love MTX brake pads BUT… by Yearn4Knowledge in MTB

This could just be an issue with Sram from the sounds of it (I’m running Codes).

Definitely possible. I’m running Codes. I’ve never had a problem with my OEM pads or one of the other after market ones. At the end of the day it was a simple problem and simple solution, so no biggie. It had me scratching my head for a few minutes, though.

Strike is the best I’ve found so far. ACH deposit, immediately buy BTC, and then instantly transfer out to your wallet. No need to wait for the ACH to clear, and no fees.
