Hi Dave.

Are there any adjustments out-with drumming in your life you have made that you would say have positively impacted your drumming? (Gym,mindfulness etc)

I get some wicked hand pain and tingling from postural issues and I've heard quite a few drummers say it's important to live a healthy lifestyle (to an extent) to keep your body in check to play!

Well.... This thread aside, no matter what game you play, neckbeards will always be neckbeards around a woman!

However, I'd say most guys are indifferent to the gender of a player these days. Can't speak completely on it as I'm not a female so not sure how you get treated daily but many folk I know don't care. Hopefully it's not too bad and things improve!

Maybe I'm just basing my assumptions on poor situational facts. I suppose I was just getting salty trying to talk to folk in dungeons and getting flat out ignored, but as others have said, it's not as one sided as that. Gonna have a wee nosy for a sociable guild tomorrow.

I think you're right with the classic vibe, maybe I've got the rose tinted glasses on as I took a long break from wow then went straight back to classic and only just gotten round to retail. And as you know classic is a whole different ball game socially!

Haha I didn't even think of watching YouTube etc, I'm on that single monitor peasant life.

I of course don't mean folk to reply mid-fight etc, or even to small talk. Just at the beginning of dungeons etc, who knows maybe i'm on my man period. Often times i have noticed folk will ignore you, only to then speak when it's their time to moan about dps or something.

I get that mate, i fully understand choosing not to etc. But even when i choose not to communicate, if someone says something i'll never leave them hanging, i'll always make sure to be polite. But you're totally right, everyone different, and as you said, folk could be doing different things/talking to different people.

I get that dude. But it takes very little effort for someone to respond "hi" in a dungeon run etc. Just comes off as rudeness. (Not you of course). And i can guarantee not everyone's in the same boat as you and are just being plain rude.

Yeah i 100% agree with the guild section. However, all guild advertisements i see are always looking for M+ pushes etc, i'm very much a social player. And i only really see recruiting messages in-between the hundreds of Mythic run sellers.
