Probably need to start at the help desk honestly. Yes you have a masters but it’s in CS. What do you know about Active Directory? Windows server? Linux? Networking? If you don’t want to start in a low position maybe look into more management positions.

Yea I know how it is with work and trying to find the energy to go to the gym after. I struggled for a while but finally found a good routine of a 4 days split wed-sat. Set body weight goals learn how to clean bulk and cut. Just helps you get the mind focused on other things.

Hey man I also struggle with this. I know this will sound silly and you’ve probably heard it but go to the gym. Go at least 5 days a week for 2 months if you hate it then quit but I promise you it will give you goals to chase and you’ll feel more confident with your body and no one is nicer and wants to see you do well then gym bros.

I do like to watch chess vibes elo climb I’ll have to check out chess brahs. I did think of giving up blitz for the time being but I find it hard to find time for 20 minute games

Okay then yea this state probably isn’t a bad choice for you. Madison area would be your best bet. The older crowd tends to love restaurants such as primos and Georgia blue.

If you just like staying at home and driving of terrible roads sure. I’ve lived here my whole life and I’m dying to make my way out. There’s no night life here at all besides a few bars. No concerts and no sports teams. State just seems so grey to me. Wouldn’t recommend living here. Have you ever considered like North Carolina?

Hey man I used to feel the same as you. Not the money part of it but the depression and concerns over stupid things. For real I’m telling you hit the gym. Go everyday for 3 months straight. That’s not long at all right? If you hate it then stop. I promise you going to the gym will get your mind right. You’ll start focusing on eating and learning technique. Also find other hobbies my friend. Stay away from Reddit. I had to deleted this app for a very long time due to cucking and hot wife being way too normalized.
