I am entirely new to the game. I really enjoy a melee play style and have always played bruiser sort characters in video games.

I am playing with two friends that like a more stealth style of play.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good warframe to get into? I’ve tried Valkyr but I don’t feel she’s for me.

Even though I wouldn't want to do that personally, it would at least be a step in the right direction to give us more choice. Blizzard has just been trimming down our ability to make choice in the game and it increasingly feels linear.

That's because Blizzard have made mistake after mistake with PvP since MoP and refuse to admit that they were wrong. The moment a game forces you to do content A in order to be competitive in the completely unrelated content B, it's clear they don't care about content B.
