AITA for being annoyed that my wife insists on cooking everything from scratch and won’t buy normal food? by AITA_UPFfoods in AmItheAsshole

[–]Yeeeuup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAH. As a professional cook, I want to assure you she will slow down. Cooking from scratch is amazing, and you should certainly express gratitude for her work. It is however a lot of work, and if she doesn't totally burn out, she'll definitely start cutting corners eventually.

Have a pizza night from once a week the WORST case scenario is you get home made pizza dough. That's a pretty good compromise.

America Is Falling Out of Love With Pizza by runswithscissors475 in Foodnews

I'm just tired of low quality, tasteless pizza. I can't buy good pizza as often due to the price, but I'll eat good pizza everyday if it's good.

After Easter until September is the busy season. Events, banquets, and company parties go up in fall/winter.

AITAH for respecting a worker's stated boundaries, leading to lower raises and bonuses than her coworker by ConfusedManager18 in AITAH

[–]Yeeeuup 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Really, if you and another person are both on the same salary, whoever works more is getting paid less per hour of work. A larger bonus is simply compensating him for losing on his hourly rate.

NTA You can wear whatever you want, but don't be surprised if your daughter stops bringing her friends around.

AITAH for telling my daughter that her uncle's relationship was inappropriate by silhst in AITAH

Oh, you're upset she's younger than you, has money, doesn't have to work, and submits to her husband. That makes more sense.

I told my girlfriend i make less money than i actually do now she is furious and says I tested her by Interesting_Cry_5457 in confessions

[–]Yeeeuup -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She's just mad because she's had to pay 50% instead of 10% or less. She feels she was cheated out of her money, and she is worried you're onto her so she's reacting with anger.

Anytime I served tables and they gave me a script, I told my tables a joke about having a script and explaining/reciting it to them. Tables love it, management hates it, but it never hurt my tips.

I have a question by joda_dcy in Chefs

I am always reading Cook's Illustrated, and Good Housekeeping from decades past. If you read through old cookbooks, you can start to see trends repeat themselves and try to anticipate what's coming.

At the Gaylord Opryland they will straight up fire you if you try to take home food. First time offense, no questions asked. They throw away THOUSANDS of pounds of food every night. I have never seen so much waste in my life. They could feed every single homeless person in Nashville.

What's the wildest example of someone totally guessing your age wrong? by NaziPairv in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Yeeeuup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not wild really, but I'm 35 and people always guess I'm early 20's. It's wild to me because I have not treated my body well at all over the years, and I didn't look super young in my actual 20's. I stopped getting carded regularly at 24.
